Botox typically "wears off" anywhere from 4 to 6 months. The muscle activity will not have been permanently weakened, and this temporary paralysis should improve shortly.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your inadvertent injection.  For most patients Botox will wear off from 3-4 months after treatment depending on their sensitivity.  You should start seeing the effects of the Botox wear off, and your muscle regain its strength in the next few weeks.  Hang in there and be strong, Botox does not leave permanent results. 

Botox is not permanent. You need to see your injector and review your before and after photos. The muscle should make a full recovery, so look at your photos with your injector to see if you're back to baseline.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO 

In the chin area Botox usually lasts 3-4 months. But I have seen patient with results lasting up to 6 months. Botox can not permanently weaken your muscle, so be patient, it will start wearing off soon.

Thanks for your question.  Botox or Dysport are temporary.  The affects generally last 3-4 months, but may be present up to 6 months in some people.  Be patient, it will wear off without any permanent weakness. 

All Botox effects will eventually reverse. It should last no longer than 4 months. I have seen patients that have a natural asymmetric smile and sometimes this isn't notice until after Botox. There is nothing permanent about Botox.

Botox can last 4-6 months, although it usually is closer to 4 months than six.  Be patient, if the botox caused the issues, it should get better.  You are almost there.

Typically it should have worn off by now. I have seen one patient who received botox from a neurologist for torticollis who had a permanent effect.
