All pros no cons. Dr. Greg did a wonderful job. He's patient and professional. All his procedures gave better results than expected. His staff is extremely courteous too. I will. E highly recommending him and his office to all friends, family and clients. When I walk into his office, I know I'll be smiling that day or in the days to come with beautiful results. My sun spot on my hand has made me feel older and self conscious. It was in such an obvious spot on the top of my hand. I was amazed when it was gone. I tried so many ointments and home remedies to no avail. Thank you so for much to him and his practice.
I had the lower 2/3’s of my fave done as well as my neck. I did 5 sessions. I noticed the skin of my neck tighten before my face. My fine lines disappeared. My skin felt softer. Definitely worth it. The only cons are dots are on your face for several days, but I found mineral foundation covered them adequately, and the first evening your skin is left red like a sun burn. I would consider doing this every year or every other. Dr. Scimeca has a great bedside manner. Would highly recommend him for any procedure he conducts.
I’m a 41 year old female that keeps in shape with regular exercise including cardio and weights. But no matter how much or how often I worked out my abdominal area nothing helped to address my c-section areas after having two children. After 3-4 treatments with Vanquish I immediately noticed a difference with that area and even some fat loss around my hips. Specifically I went down a whole jean size. I would highly recommend this procedure to any mother who is left with unwanted fat after having their children or any person looking to lose inches from their waistline. The procedure is painless and took roughly an hour each ... less time than I spend in the salon. It can best be described as feeling like a heating pad.
Dr. Scimeca is as compassionate as he is competent. My vision correction surgery was a newer technology that some doctors are not familiar with, but Dr. Scimeca was not only versed but confident in its ability to correct my terrible vision. The surgery was fast and painless, recovery was easy, and I now am blessed to have exceptional vision. I would bring my family to Dr. Scimeca in the event they needed specialty eye care or desired cosmetic enhancements. I have great respect and appreciation for him; as a physician myself my standards are extremely high, and Dr. Scimeca's knowledge, skill and thoroughness surpassed even my expectations.
Dr. Scimeca made my stretch mark removal procedure so much easier with his bed side manner. He made me feel less nervous, and not to mention my results are AMAZING!!! I will post my pictures for everyone to see, because pictures are the best way to show you how happy I am. I will no longer be scared to wear my bathing suit.
If you have dry eyes, there are other options to try. Punctal plugs can be inserted right in the doctor's office. There are also prescription eye drops for dry eyes. Good luck
All else being normal, you would have enough residual corneal tissue in the bed for femtosecond custom LASIK. PRK is also an option, but there is a slight risk of corneal haze post-op with such a high correction. Visian lens implants are also an option for you, especially if you are concerned with corneal surgery. Good luck
Current standard are to leave at least 300 microns of corneal tissue behind to maintain proper corneal strength and integrity. If you underwent PRK for your current correction, you would have more 300 microns left. All else being normal, it appears you would be a candidate. Good luck.
Typically, the energy of the IPL can be adjusted lower until the patient is comfortable. Many IPL hand pieces also cool the surface of the skin during treatment. The skin can be numbed with topical medication ahead of time. For IPL hair removal, it's important to minimize the hair on the surface of the skin. Good luck.
You may have developed a corneal surface epithelial defect from getting hit in the eye. This could have happen from the trauma alone, even if you didn't have PRK. You should be examined by you eye doctor to determine whether the eye was injured.
