Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your two photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Dorsal hump reduction, tip deprojection, and tip elevation would also be helpful. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Hi, During a Rhinoplasty the nasal profile is changed according to the agreement between the patient and surgeon. The change includes bridge, tip, width and length. It is better for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss the surgical procedure and the post op recovery process.
Yes, your nose can be improved. Your dorsum is not straight and needs to be taken down. The nasal columella angle is at 90 degrees and it should be at 110 degrees. The tip needs to be refined as well. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty to correct all of these.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
It appears that you are an excellent candidate for a primary rhinoplasty. The thickness of your skin, will determine the ultimate degree of refinement. However, a moderate refinement is likely to produce significant results for you.Dr. B.
You can absolutely get a great result . I don’t think your skin thickness will be a problem to deal with. You need to have your bridge lowered and that will make the most difference
Hello, Yes it is possible to achieve nice refinement of your tip. From the photos it appears your skin is likely a high moderate thickness, which may retain swelling a little longer, but is certainly not a very big limiting factor. The most significant issue about your tip is that your cartilages are very convex, and perhaps a little bit cephalically positioned. This requires more than your basic "generic" rhinoplasty techniques. So yes. It's possible, but please make sure to consult with true rhinoplasty specialists, and ask how they plan to address your issues. My technique of choice for these is to free the cartilages, use grafts to flatten them, then position them as desired. Good luck!
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have an arched nose but your skin structure is suitable for rhinoplasty operation for get rid of this image I recommend you rhinoplasty surgery. It would be better face to face consultation.Best Regards.
Based on your photos, you appear to have a wide and somewhat crooked nasal appearance on front view. On profile, you have an over projected nasal profile appearance. That means that you know sticks out a bit too far. This is associated with a dorsal hump and a droopy tip. Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a narrower, smaller, less distracting, and more feminine nasal appearance. Please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialist who offer computer imaging so you can see what to expect. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Are you a good candidate for a Rhinoplasty?Your nasal tip can be refined and the dorsal hump removed with a standard rhinoplasty. However if the skin of the tip is very thick the resultant tip will be modestly improved. Further definition however can be achieved postoperatively with steroid injection which will thin the skin and enhance the definition of the tip, depending on how much definition you are seeking.
When performing ethnic rhinoplasty it is very important to be mindful of the ethnic origin of the patient. This being said, your nose can be refined by lowering the nasal profile without making it too weak looking. Your nose is bulbous but can be improved and refined. The quality of the skin in the tip region has to be evaluated to see if this would be a limitation. You should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon with experience performing ethnic rhinoplasty for a thorough examination. Good luck!
