Bumps on bridge 4-5 months after rhinoplasty (Photo)

Question

Hello. I had a rhinoplasty end of october 2023. Ive noticed two halfish pea sized bumps on the bridge. One at the highest part of the bridge and one about mid bridge. My procedure was hump removal, tip reconstruction, side narrowing and a deviated septum fix. The bumps are semi centred but more to where the deviated part was. Will these bumps be swelling? Or is it my bone healing in a way that makes it look like i have a hump again?

Your result is good overall. You might want to ask your surgeon if he or she can lower the bridge a little more or file it down

As far as I can understand from your question After 6 months, the remaining bumps are permanent and it would be better to have an examination with your surgeon about this.

This problem can be seen occasionally after rhinoplasty due to bone dust, scarring or cartilage irregularities after rhinoplasty. It is best to let it settle and mature for 1 year or so and address it in local anesthesia by simply rasping the bump. Good luck.

Although it takes a full year for someone's rhinoplasty surgery to completely heal, the mid bridge and up typically lose swelling the fastest. Based on your photo, this small bump is relatively inconsequential since it may be camouflaged. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered for camouflaging this bump, permanently, so revision rhinoplasty would not be completely necessary.
