I am 2 years post op and I believe that I have nerve damage in my buttocks due to when I sit down I get numbness and tingling and tension headaches. I’m wondering if this is something that can be repaired or would this be a permanent issue?

Answer: Buttock issues It is rare to get numbness from a BBL procedure. But not impossible. Numbness that only appears with sitting pressure is not permanent nerve damage but something else (not sure of the reason). A tension headache has nothing to do with your BBL procedure.

Answer: Nerve sensations with sitting When nerves have pressure put on them like if your legs are crossed patient often have loss of sensation. The added volume from a BBL can change the body in certain ways. I don’t think there’s any way to change how your nerves are functioning. Tension headaches would not be related to having had a previous BBL. Consider following up with your primary care doctor. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
