Is numbness/tingling/nerve damage after a BBL something that can be repaired or is it a permanent issue?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Hello, thank you for your question. Nerves can get pushed around and stretched during surgery but unlikely it would have been cut during a BBL surgery considering no sharp objects are used. Sounds mostly superficial to the skin sensation. Nerves take time to adjust. I would speak to your plastic surgeon first to express your concern.

It is rare to get numbness from a BBL procedure. But not impossible. Numbness that only appears with sitting pressure is not permanent nerve damage but something else (not sure of the reason). A tension headache has nothing to do with your BBL procedure.

When nerves have pressure put on them like if your legs are crossed patient often have loss of sensation. The added volume from a BBL can change the body in certain ways. I don’t think there’s any way to change how your nerves are functioning. Tension headaches would not be related to having had a previous BBL. Consider following up with your primary care doctor.
