I am 30yrs/130 lbs. I got a kenalog injection as a child and it caused tissue/fat loss, a little atrophy on both sides on my butt. Now that I have gained some weight it is more noticable & it bothers me wearing tight clothes I was told it needs subcision (a release of fibrous bands of the tethering scar tissue) I am back in school, And can only take a few days off, to get this done. Would I need a bbl or can a simple subcision work? And if So, is there a doctor that can do it?

Answer: Butt dent Dear Terrific344245, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photo, it looks like you would need some kind of grafting to fill the dent. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Butt dent: Subcision only or would i need a BBL? Interesting question1 Subcision will definitely help. But I’m afraid it might not be enough. I will help release the tissue but it would be best combined with fat grafting. This does not have to be a full blown BBL if you van only take a few days off. Subcision plus a little bit if lipo and then grating that fat to the on the affected areas is very possible to do with zero downtime. Best of luck, Dr. Miguel Mota
