Can small changes to my nose can make a big difference to me? Is it worth it?

Changes to the nose as a result of rhinoplasty are often subtle but can soften the appearance of the face in a positive way. While the changes you seek may not be obvious and drastic, they can improve the appearance of your nose. Without a full set of pictures, it's impossible to give any meaningful opinion. Rhinoplasty is an operation based on millimeters of change. The patients themselves do recognize the changes that are made, but most  acquaintances of the patient don't notice that they've had a nose job.

You have decided with your parents and your doctor whether what he can do is worth it for you. Best of luck.

It all depends on how much the appearance of your nose bothers you. Often patients who need very few subtle changes are the happiest if just those changes are made. 

No one ever
"needs" a rhinoplasty. It is an elective procedure and only you can
determine if your nasal features concern you enough to do something about
improving the cosmetic appearance of your nose and whether it would be
worthwhile.

Following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes
to tell you exactly what to do based on limited 2 dimensional photos without
examiningyou, physically feeling the
tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and
discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your
best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal
surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
(ASAPS) or a facial plastic surgeon (ENT) that you trust and are comfortable
with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.

If you are happy with the proposed changes then and you have confidence in your doctor, then you fix it. Not every nose that we do is horrible. Some small changes have a big effect

Generally speaking -you are the best person to judge if the difference is worthwhile to you. Your plastic surgeon may be able to tell you this- if you ask him his honest opinion.  nose is just one of the many features of nose -- a small change in that which you are yourself doubtful about, may not be apparent to others. It should be decided between you and your plastic surgeon, during consultation. In case of doubt, I do nonsurgical rhinoplasty with Juvederm  injection to show the removal of hump. But this method will not reduce your tip size. If non surgical rhinoplasty works for you then you can later do surgery or continue with repeated juvederm every year.
