After nose surgery, my nose is too high between the eyes and bridge (6 months after surgery)

Question

The surgeon actually moved material from the side of the nose to the area between tip and bridge due to the area between the eyes (the bone) being so high. I now look like a freak with my nose going straight to my forehead. It used to be significantly below the forehead between the eyes. How can this be corrected - removing the material he added between the tip and bridge and reducing the height of the bone while going more narrow?

Unfortunately the fullness between the eyes adversely changes the face by making the eyes to look too close to each other on the front view and results in a displeasing relationship between the forehead and the nose on the profile. If your surgeon augmented this area, the augmentation material which is usually cartilage, needs to be removed. Otherwise this area can be deepened with a tool that I have designed and is available to your surgeon through Hall/Zimmer company. You may wish to consult your surgeon about this. Although waiting for a year is logical it is not an absolute rule in this area as it is in relation to the nose tip revision surgery.

My first thought is to give it some more time. in general, the swelling improves over the entire first year. That being said, there are some things that will not change much after the six month mark. i would suggest speaking with your surgeon about the high radix, this is something that can be addressed earlier than the one year mark.
