How many treatments do I need to remove a scar with scar laser removal?

I got a Brazilian Butt Lift and I'm getting close to my 1 year mark. My scars are still very noticeable on my olive toned skin. Once I've passed 1 year my doctor said I am able to seek scar removal treatments. My question is: how many treatments of scar laser removal do I need to get rid of small lipo scars? Thanks!

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

The number of treatments depends on the size and color of your tattoo, as well as its location and laser that is used. If you decide to proceed with Picosure laser, fewer treatments will be needed, and you could expect to be done in 4 to 6 treatments. Remember that treatments have to be 4 to 6 weeks apart. Again, it all depends on your personal condition. When it comes to scarring, the use of Picosure laser is minimalized. If laser tattoo removal is performed by an expert who uses the most advanced laser technology and If you follow instructures before and after the procedures, the chance of scarring is negligible.

Scar treatments in my office are treated with our Sciton laser. This has an Erbium Yag laser. The number of treatments varies with the scar depth. Usually at least 2 treatments are required, sometimes a few more. Redness in the scar is treated with our BBL pulsed light in lighter skin patients. Hi and thanks for your question. For scar treatment we offer ablative erbium laser and typically need 3-5 sessions for the maximum effect .In the case of very deep scars we can mix that subcision treatment
