Fat grafting is a great way to fix contour deformities left by liposuction. The procedure can help to smooth out the areas nicely.
Suctioning the area above the indentation should smooth it out..........................................................................................................
It would be valuable to know how far along post-op you are as it takes weeks to see the results of liposuction and swelling can last for months. If you are unhappy it's likely you will need a revision procedure. I suggest a 4D HI DEFINITION contouring specialist for contouring, and potentially fat grafting. Please consult with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Those contour irregularities can be corrected and smoothed out with some touch up liposuction in your Dr.'s office once you are well healed. Remember to give yourself time following liposuction to heal and the swelling to decrease, I'm not sure how long post op you are. In the end, seek a follow up with your Dr. and discuss with him/her your concerns. Good luck!
Hello dear, thanks for your question and providedinformation as well.. This is the surgicalprocedure that revolutionized cosmetic surgery becoming one of the mostperformed cosmetic procedures. Subcutaneous tissue or fat is removed in orderto contour the body in a way that is harmonious and pleasing to the senses. Itcan be performed in almost all regions of the body such as the neck, chin, abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, arms and ankles. Usually done through a smallincision in the skin through which a cannula connected to a vacuum is applied,it can be performed alone or in combination with other procedures. Afterliposuction your body is going to be really swollen for at least 2 to 4 monthsafter your surgery. It is important for you to wear your compression garmentfor at least 6 months, the first 3 months 24/7 and then the last 3 months atleast 12 hours per day for your body get use to not having the faja for so manytime. When you remove it, your body can get swollen and also you can have pain.Remember to also compress your body to prevent a seroma which is anaccumulation of liquid that has to be drained, it is hard to touch and alsoreally painful. Bruises are completely normal for almost 3 months from surgery, that’s why is better for you to use a bruising cream and apply it all over yourbody 3 times a day. To prevent bad circulation and swollen legs, usecompression socks. Brazilian butt lift can be performed with the same procedureand for a month it will be swollen and it will drop a little bit without losingit’s shape if you use your garment.. If you’re going to perform liposuction onyour inner, outer, anterior, lateral, postetior thighs, be careful and consultwith your surgeon what’s best for you, sometimes we have more extra skin thanfat, that can cause severe sagginess on our legs, which can be only be reversedperforming a thigh lift.
Right now you may have swelling above and below the area treated. i would give it 4-6 months to settle before considering a revision.
Thank you for your question. I am not sure how long ago it was performed. I recommend to talk to your PS and express your concerns. Revision can be done to make it look better usually after 6 mo of initial procedure.
Unfortunately it's still too soon to say if you'll need a revision. However, I recommend addressing these concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. It may be that you need liposuction to other areas to help create a smoother contour or fat grafting to smooth out the 'dents' in your picture.Thank you for your question and for sharing your pictures!Melinda Lacerna, MD FACS
Thank you for posting good pictures.Excess of liposuction can be difficult to correct. In your case I believe it revision liposuction can probably give you a much improved even contour eliminating some of the deformity caused from your first procedure.I personally perform all liposuction with my patients awake avoiding the use of general anesthesia. The results and to be substantially improved and more predictable. The type of results you obtained would really happen with the patient laying on their side with a foam wedge pleased between the legs protecting the patient for developing a "hip dip"I suggest you get a second opinion from a board-certified plastic surgeon who asked to expertise with liposuction. My practice is exclusively devoted to liposuction and fat transfer only. It's hard to tell for sure what type of improvements could be obtained but I feel quite certain that the right doctor could help you get a substantial improvement.Sometimes fat transfer can help though this is often have limited benefit.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
It takes weeks to see the results of liposuction and swelling can last for months. Massage, RF treatments and hyperbaric oxygen will drastically reduce swelling. In my practice most of my patients have very little pain 1 week after following my liposuction post-op protocol. I suggest speaking...
I'm sorry this happened to you. While the Dominican Republic seems tempting because of the low price, having surgery far away from home sometimes results in complications that need to be managed once you get home. One of the reasons medical tourism is cheaper is because a surgeon doesn't h...
Thanks for the question. It’s too early to comment over the result. First couple of weeks after the surgery you can back to work and couple of weeks later your permanent recovery will start. It’s possible to see some major changes in Liposuction results till the end of 12 months recovery....
