I want to ask because I heard results of people taking diet pills, and some lucky people dropped 20 pounds within a month time? Many doctors on this website told me that liposuction is the gold standard in removing unwanted fat, but I cannot be able to go to the beach, or have my skin exposed to sun? I do not know if I can take that? They also told me that the swelling can take up to one year to all go away? Let's say my significant other wanted to have sex with me can the swelling be a turnoff?

Answer: Diet pills, vs lipo, vs cool sculpt The key here is that liposuction and cool sculpt are not weight loss procedures but more to help contour once your are at your desired weight. There is never any down side to losing weight. I would caution you that diet pills are designed to be a jump start to a healthier way to weight loss, namely diet and exercise. If you don't plan on changing lifestyle the weight will come back. Good luck.

Answer: Liposuction vs. coolsculpting Diet pills decrease weight; are only effective while they are being taken, have multiple side effects, and should be taken only under the supervision of a doctor who has a lot of experience in prescribing them. Liposuction decreases fat, and contours the areas treated, but is not a significant weight loss treatment. Coolsculpting MINMALLY reduces fat, requires repetitive treatments, and in many cases results in low patient satisfaction. The best option for an individual patient depends on that individual's goals. Localized areas of fat that are resistant to normal diet and exercise in a patient who is not very overweight are best treated with liposuction. Generalized excess fat in a patient who is overweight is not well treated by liposuction, and benefits more from a good diet, exercise program, and possibly diet pills.
