Had my surgery Oct 17 & contemplate going end of Jan or first of Feb
Answer: Snow ski after tummy tuck Usually 2-3 months is enough recovery from a tummy tuck to start snow skiing again. Remember to start your activity slowly and at a gradual increase in intensity. Your ski trip should not be your first physical activity after your procedure. You should ask your plastic surgeon when he/she thinks is best. Hope this helps.

Answer: Skiing after tummy tuck I would think that three months after tummy tuck surgery you could start skiing again. I would suggest taking a bit easier trail the first time you go until you feel confident. Have fun.

Answer: Timing of Skiing After A Tummy Tuck Most patients are able to ski approximately two months after their tummy tuck. After two months, the wounds have had adequate time to heal and any discomfort should be minimal. I would highly recommend that you check with the plastic surgeon who performed your tummy tuck since he/she would have the most insight on how you are healing. Good luck!

Answer: Post Tummy Tuck Skiing Thank you for your question. A personal exam and consultation is always best. That said you need to discuss this with your surgeon. Depending on your healing progress, your surgeon can advise you as to the intensity of your skiing. Typically, two to three months should be adequate time, but, again, every patient is different. You do not want to overdue it.Be sure to consult a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, experienced in your procedure, and who has an excellent reputation in your community.

Answer: Returning to skiing after tummy tuck Generally, for activities that involve a lot of abdominal movement and strength (like skiing), I have patients wait at least two months, but follow your own surgeon's advice. As with all activities that you resume, use common sense, and gradually ease back into them. For skiing, this might mean avoiding the double black diamond trails, staying on the greens and blues, and doing a half day only.
