I would like to have rhinoplasty, what is the best way for me to go? (Photo)

The photograph shows a bulbous tip, lack of definition of the tip, a low bridge and wide nostrils.  These are all the elements typically seen an African-American nose.  All of these can be addressed in a rhinoplasty.RegardsDr. J

The most effective way to choose a surgeon is to visit their website and decide if the results that are available are the results that you would like to see for yourself.  You definitely need to meet with an experienced board certified surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty.  Ask them as many questions as you feel it is necessary to become comfortable.  Make certain you discuss outcomes you would like to see and realistic expectations.  You can also ask them about your puffy eyes!

photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon

A profile view and one showing the very top of your nose, and one showing the base, would be important. Look for a very experienced rhinoplasty specialist for best results, since rhinoplasty is a very difficult endeavor. The bridge of the nose can be narrowed with osteotomies, the tip refined with suture techniques and a conservative cartilage removal, and the nostrils narrowed with an alar-plasty.
