I went for a consult with Dr. Calvert after being recommended by friends and family. I had hesitated with whether or not to undergo a rhinoplasty for years and had previously dabbled in nose filler (from a different doctor -- do not recommend). From the initial consult Dr. Calvert he made me feel comfortable and confident. I went to 3 other consults before making my decision and the other doctors did not compare. Dr. Calvert set realistic expectations of the procedure itself and recovery. He pointed out nuances that none of the other doctors saw. Prior to surgery he and the team were so attentive with care, as with everything post-op. My new nose is everything I ever dreamed of and it's all because Dr. Calvert is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also an incredible artist. Although I did not have a medical-grade deviated septum, my breathing has greatly improved since surgery as well. I meant to write this review ages ago and was reminded to now after just receiving my wedding photos from my photographer and having so many WOW moments for just how f*cking amazing my side profile is!

I have not written a review on a doctor prior to this. I have had 6 nose jobs prior to Dr. Calvert. I traveled all over the country for revisions and cost became something I was not concerned about after the 3rd revision from another very well know specialist. Dr. Calvert is the real deal. If anyone can fix thick skin, complicated cases..it is him. I had a curved septum that was cause by previous surgeries that every other doctor said they could fix but always fell short. Not only did Dr. Calvert fix my nose but he made it cute again. He is beyond talented, great bed side manner and is not going to tell you something to close a deal. If he says he can do it, he can do it. I trust him so much that I will go back to him when the time is right for other surgeries. If he can handle something so complicated as my nose I 100 percent believe he can do anything else with ease. I know the people looking hours and hours trying to find someone great to reconstruct what other doctors have done feel hopeless. There is hope and it is him. I can be critical and my own worst critic (working on it) but he truly has a gift. All the best and I hope this helps someone.

My experience with Dr. Calvert was incredible. From my consultation to 1 month post-op, my experience has been 10/10, and I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a primary rhinoplasty to schedule a consultation. I don't have a single bad to say about my experience with Dr. Calvert, in fact my only regret is that I didn't go to him sooner.

Dr. Calvert was recommended to me by a good friend, and after seeing how her nose turned out, going to him was a no brainer. I was very nervous and adamant about certain aspects of my surgery, and he worked with me and made me as comfortable as possible.

He called me the night before my surgery (as did his anesthesiologist) to answer any questions and to go over things one more time. I have never had a doctor be so gracious and make me more comfortable before and so I really appreciated that.

The day I got my cast off was the day my life changed. I have never been so confident in my life and knew I had made the best choice of surgeon.

I am just over a month out from my surgery, and I couldn't be happier or more confident, despite knowing that I have many months ahead before I see my final results. The recovery has been really easy, and Dr. Calvert made himself available both in person and over the phone.

My experience with Dr. Calvert was a perfect 10/10, and my only regret is that I waited as long as I did to go to him.

I'd highly recommend him to anyone currently looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon.

Dr. Jay Calvert is part artist, part surgeon and this rare combination of talents allows him to do more than other surgeons in plastic surgery.

I am almost 50 and I look like I am mid, late 30’s. And yet at the same time - my kids think I look just like I always did. That’s a special magic right there.

What I have found most surprising after a facelift - is how much more myself I feel. I look on the outside how I feel on the inside. I now feel and look like the best, sexiest, most beautiful version of myself.

Choosing a surgeon is no small decision. When you are trusting someone with your face - you are trusting them with everything and I can assure you that you can trust Dr. Calvert - and you will be amazed at how great you will feel about yourself.

For me, I take this confidence into work and it will help me professionally. I am taking this into my own personal wellness journey in an effort to be healthier in my life as well.

I am over 2 years Post Op from my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Jay Calvert and very happy with my results. I had a great experience from start to finish with the surgery and follow up appointments in his Newport Beach, CA location. He has a super down to earth bed side manner and is highly skilled in all things nose related especially revision rhinoplasties. I had my septum collapse after my primary septo/rhinoplasty (done 10 years prior with a different surgeon) and Dr. Calvert helped reconstruct my nose using rib cartilage. My nose not only looks much better but the airway improved greatly. The swelling and the shock of post op took a good 3-6 months but even with all the warnings it's still a bit shocking to see yourself during that time so patience is really important especially in revisions.

I had a good feeling the first time I met with Dr. Calvert on Zoom, and my second meeting with him, where I showed him what I had in mind and he said he believed that if he couldn’t replicate it exactly that it would be very close (I knew that no doctor could promise me that he or she could necessarily replicate exactly what I wanted), sealed the deal. It wasn’t only that, however. A very well-respected plastic surgeon in Atlanta, GA where I live referred me to Dr. Calvert, as my case apparently was quite complex. (I had had rhinoplasty 35 years earlier, and over time the cartilage had shifted and my nose looked horrible. I’ve wanted to fix it for years. I had spoken to some doctors over the years but just didn’t feel any of them was going to be able to do a good job.) Additionally, I did research on Dr. Calvert, and was impressed by what I read and saw. Incidentally, he’s the president of the Rhinoplasty Society and is internationally known for his work on rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction. Ultimately, I absolutely made the right decision. Even on the day after surgery when I finally got a glimpse of what I looked like, I could see a small part of the tip of my nose, and I could tell it looked 100 times better just from that. Then when I was two weeks out, on the day I flew back home, I saw for the first time my entire nose. Even with it swollen I could see how incredible it looked. I forgot to mention he had also shown me pictures he had taken of my nose while I was still on the operating table after he had finished, and it looked fantastic! I’m exactly four weeks to the day out now from my surgery. The swelling has gone down a little, but, as Dr. Calvert says he reminds patients of constantly, it’s a process, and you must be willing to be patient if you go through this procedure.

Dr. Calvert has been blessed with incredible talent. He is not only a fabulous surgeon but also an extraordinary artist. He has a good sense of humor that helps to put you at ease, and he has always patiently answered all of my questions. I am positively blown away by what he did. It’s also obvious that he is passionate about his work. I want to add that his staff has always been very friendly and always made me feel comfortable to call with any questions or requests. I know when the swelling goes down further that I will no longer shy away from getting my picture taken or speaking in front of a group of people. I can’t even describe how freeing a feeling that is, or how different I already feel about myself. I can never thank you enough, Dr. Calvert.

Dr. Calvert was recommended to me by a friend for a rhinoplasty, and I only have positive things to say about him from the consultation to the follow-up visits. After I communicated what I wanted from the rhinoplasty at the consultation, Dr. Calvert was able to point things out that I did not think about or see, which included the possibility of improving my breathing. He is an obvious expert in the field (which is evident if you listen to his podcast) and clearly communicated what his plans were for the rhinoplasty. He was very patient with my questions and answered them thoroughly. The surgery and recovery went smoothly, and I am very happy with my result. Dr. Calvert exceeded my expectations. It is obvious that Dr. Calvert is passionate about his work, and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Calvert is the BEST!!! I was a combination of nervous energy and excitement when I went in for my consultation! He was great and has a great sense of humor! I am so very pleased with my breast augmentation and tummy tuck!! My scars after a year are almost invisible and so perfect! Dr. Calvert is such a perfectionist that he scheduled monthly check-ups to make sure that they healing was happening properly. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could!! Thank you!!!

I went to Dr. Jay Calvert for a breast revision from capsular contracture, a dent in my breast, and scar revision surgery. My previous breast augmentation was with another surgeon out of state. I was really scared to go through this surgery again and really took time to research my options for the best possible surgeon that I could trust.

I did several virtual consultations then narrowed my search to three top Plastic Surgeons in Beverly Hills for my breast and scar revision that all came with excellent references, highly regarded in their industry. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to assess me so quickly with a surgical plan that made me feel comfortable.

I am three weeks post-operation and although I am still healing and won't see full results for six (6) months to a year, I am thrilled with my results. He did a capsulectomy, switched my highly cohesive silicone implant to a slightly smaller softer implant, modified the pocket for better shape, did a small fat transfer to replace the loss tissue and then revised my areola scars.

My breasts look full but have a much more natural feel and the shape is greatly improved! The scar (revision) is healing well and areola looks so much more symmetrical. My friends have also commented on how amazing they look and everyone keeps asking who my surgeon was. He truly is an artist and I am so happy I made the decision to work with him! He was compassionate, thoughtful and took great care of me. You are in great hands with Dr. Jay Calvert and his team! I am so grateful and highly recommend him!

Dr. Calvert is brilliant and so incredibly good at his job. Not only is he the nicest and funniest most personable doctor I ever encountered, he is so so good at what he does. I had a primary rhinoplasty with a different doctor who left me with a bad nose that didn't function properly and trust issues. Once I met Jay though, all that went out the window. During the consultation he listened carefully to my concerns and goals. He then took one look at my nose and knew everything it needed, explaining what he would do should I decide to have my surgery with him. He was not pushy whatsoever, allowed me to ask endless questions, didn't make me feel rushed, and completely gained my trust. Once the surgery date was booked, he took the time to check in multiple times to speak to me and my mother on the phone so that he could ease any concerns we were feeling. He is empathetic and kind as well as professional. I really knew that I could trust this person with my face and my life. Surgery is scary but he didn't make it feel that way. His team and colleagues are the sweetest people as well. I could gush about this doctor and his team all day. Post op, he has his patients come in regularly to check up on the healing process. The time, energy, love, care, and passion he puts into each case is incredible. The entire experience was so positive and I am thrilled with my results - my confidence is back and I feel like a completely new version of myself. Dr. Calvert really changed my life and going to him was truly the best decision I ever made. Take my word for it, he and his team and the best of the best. For the first time in my life I love my nose and I never thought that I would be able to say that. The only reason I can, is because of him.
