hello seattleyes30 In cases where a large amount of fat is removed, liposuction should be done with other body contouring procedures such as tummy tuck, thigh lift, buttock augmentation, facelift, neck lift and chin augmentation. #stomach #options
You are a candidate for liposuction. Based on my expereince of doing lipo for 19 years and being in the first center in North America where lipo was performed I could tell you that having performed on 1000s of patients like you with proper surgical lipo technique and post op care you would have amazing results.
Thank you for your pictures and your question. It is obvious you take care of yourself but there are deposits of fat that sometimes are stubborn. Liposuction of the abdomen is a great way to slim and reshape your body by removing excess fatty deposits for a better contour but it will not remove excess skin and will not help with abdominal protrusion (an abdominoplasty will do that). I think you should save an abdominoplasty for after having children (if you want them). I would definitely see a plastic surgeon for a consultation as I think you are are great candidate. You make communicate your desires and make goals together. Good luck! Best wishes, Dr. Suzette Miranda
In looking at the limited views from yourpictures I would say definitely liposuction and not tummy tuck. You should beable to get nice smooth contouring of your abdominal skin as well as tighteningyour waist and hip line which will accentuate the roundness of your buttocks.Avoid abdominoplasty at this point I suggest.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. There are distinct differences between lipo and a tummy tuck and it is important that you understand those differences. As to which procedure is right for you, that depends on your exam and your goals and expectations. The biggest concern is that liposuction does not cause skin tightening, so if you are going to be unhappy with excess skin after removing some of the underlying fat tissue, then liposuction is probably not a good option for you. Make sure you have a consultation with a local board certified plastic surgeon to review your options.Best of luck!
Based on your age and no kids, I'm going to guess that your skin quality is pretty good. And because you may want to have kids in the future, my suggestion would be to consider liposuction. My feeling is that young women should hold off on TT because the results will be short lived if you become pregnant afterwards.Oftentimes, even aggressive liposuction in someone your age will encourage snugging up of the skin so that there isn't much laxity after the procedure. I would suggest you consider lipo in the abdomen, flanks and back torso/hip area to give you a 360 degree shaping of your mid body region.Even if there is a little laxity afterwards, your shape will look great! Thank you for your question and photos. Lipo and TT are not interchangeable procedures. In my practice, I often combine them. Based on your photos, you would have an excellent result with VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 degrees. Often, patients concentrate on one area that they see in the mirror daily and bothers them the most. Flattening the abdomen only and not addressing the other adjacent areas will give you a suboptimal result. If you are interested in minimal improvement, then do Coolsculpting or if you are interested in achieving an hourglass figure, then you need the VASER. This is only a tool which helps the well trained surgeon achieve amazing results. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
I'd stick to liposuction. You don't have any extra skin on your stomach and you haven't had any kids. You won't get enough improvement from a tummy tuck to make it worth the expense and time for recovery. Liposuction can help remove areas of unwanted fat and will contour your midsection to improve your hourglass shape.
Dear SeattleYes30,Its difficult to tell without examining you. Liposuction gets rid of excess fat. A mini tummy tuck is great if you are just looking to flatten the skin below the belly button. It does nothing for the skin above the belly button. This may be an option for you. A full tummy tuck address all of the skin laxity and abdominal wall laxity. It repositions your umbilicus as well. It costs more and has more downtime associated then either of the above. I would recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon that can go over in detail these three options and spends time answering your questions.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. This will depend on skin laxity, but you appear to be a candidate for liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
