Hello dear Surgeons, I am 39 years asian female. I used to have skinny arms until 4 years ago I gained 10 kilos. My fat deposit went mostly to my arms. Why does women with big/ fat arms looks huge even the rest of our body are smaller? 2. I saw before and after photos of a lipoed arms but the result is very minimal and unsatisfying. How much fat/ can be removed in the arms or does doctor set a limit? I hope to get doctors response

Answer: Removing fat from arms The answer depends on how good a skin contour you have. If the skin is elastic, more fat can be removed without much negative effect. If the skin is aging or looser, then less can be removed. Without an exam, it will not be possible to fully evaluate you and give you recommendations.

Answer: Arm Liposuction The amount of fat that can be removed from the arms really depends on each individual patient. On exam, if the arms are full but there is no loose skin, then more fat can be taken out than from a patient with loose and hanging skin. There are some procedures such as BodyTite and Smartlipo which we can also use to help promote skin tightening prior to the liposuction portion of the procedure. It's best to schedule a consult for an examination and to review your options.
