Dear 2017DollCompletion,you are still in early stage of recovery so tightness can be expected. It should start resolving during the next weeks. I would suggest you to follow your surgeon's instructions and consult him in case of concern.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
hello 2017DollCompletion Numbness around suction area will improve a few weeks after the procedure; lumpiness will also decrease with time although massaging can quicken the softening. You should contact or visit your PS about this concern.
Hello, thanks for your question and provided information as well.. Yes dear, it is normal, it will be changing with time, do not worry, besides that you look very good after surgery, use compression under your garment and it will go away even faster.
yes having your sides feel hard after liposuction is normal. It is from swelling mostly. You can do massage, lymphatic massage, or do Venus radiotherapy treatments all of which will help improve this hard area. Good luck! DSR
It's a great question. When the armpit skin is thick and elastic then armpit fat does really well with liposuction. Tiny holes are made and very small instruments are used to remove the stubborn fat. Once everything heals, no one will know that a little lipo was needed.
Hello,You do not need 'skin tightening'; that is not the problem. You have isolated areas of fulness representing either residual pockets of fat, scar tissue, or both, which can occur after liposuction. Unfortunately, Venus Legacy and other non-surgical devices are unproven; there is not one pee...
If it is as small as it appears, then it can probably be done in the office under local anesthesia for $1200-$1500. The only concern I have is whether it is fat that can be suctioned, or is it excess skin that needs to be excised. Good luck, Greg Sexton, M.D. Columbia, S.C.
