I had a dorsal hump removed which was too aggressive for my liking. I’ve read articles about “reverse nose jobs” where people use hyaluronic acid to add humps back to their noses, but I’ve never really seen any before/afters. My question is, is this possible, to what degree (mm wise), and what would the augmented portion feel like? Would it be stiff like bone/cartilage or soft?

Answer: Improve Surgery Results With Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Revision Hi Kuma425,This is a great question! In my practice we see a lot of patients looking for non-surgical rhinoplasty revision with Dermal Fillers, including rebuilding the dorsal hump. It's important to be cautious when treating the nose after surgical rhinoplasty. During rhinoplasty surgery the blood supply to the skin may have been altered, there may be scar tissue, there may also be an implant present. Any of these occurrences can increase the risk of complications when performing both surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty revision. Fortunately, I have found that with expert and strategic application, non-surgical rhinoplasty can not only be a safe alternative to a second surgery, it can also successfully improve the overall appearance of the nose. Be sure to do your homework and find an Injector with demonstrated patient results and experience with this technically challenging procedure. I've created a video about Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty to address some frequently asked questions about the treatment.I hope this information helps in your research!

Answer: Injectible fillers to build a nasal bridge Yes, I frequently inject fillers to post-rhinoplasty defects, such as a deficient nasal bridge. You cannot make a nasal hump with fillers, but you can fill a nasal concavity. I generally prefer Restylane for these situations, and patient satisfaction rates are very high. The scarring from prior surgery is generally not an issue because the fillers are placed just superficial to the plane of surgery.
