I had hyaluronic acid filler in my nose three times over two years. After the third session, a small bulge appeared on the tip of my nose, and the area became frequently red. I got worried and brought it up at my follow-up appointment, but was told it was nothing to worry about. At the time, I didnt think it was dangerous since my practitioner told me it was fine. And when I applied pressure to the area, the blood flow returned quickly once I released it, which made me think it wasn't too much to worry about. However, Ive since learned that this doesnt necessarily guarantee that the blood flow is completely normal or unobstructed. A couple of months later, I got a second opinion and decided to dissolve the filler with one round of Hyalase. This was a few months ago. I only did it once, as I was cautious because of all the risks and horror stories Ive read. About two weeks after dissolving, a visible dent appeared on the tip of my nose something that wasnt there before I had any filler. It feels like a loss of volume or tissue. Could this be tissue or fat loss? Poor circulation, maybe due to pressure from the filler? Would a second round of Hyalase help or harm? Could a tiny amount of filler or fat transfer make sense or is there another option Im not aware of?
My original plan for 2022 was to get only a chin implant and submental lipo - however, recently, I'm intrigued by the possibility of improving my nose as well. I want to avoid surgical rhinoplasty if possible and am curious if I may be a candidate for nonsurgical nose job, or if my dorsal hump is too big? I'm including a photo - the left image is my current side profile, the right photo is a rough mock-up of what I'd like to achieve via chin implant, submental lipo & nonsurgical rhinoplasty.
Hello, I wish to undergo an operation to build up my nasal dorsum and bridge in order to develop a Dorsal hump. I want a dorsal hump because it will make my nose appear more defined and masculine. I have wanted to undergo such a procedure for many years and after a year of contemplation I have decided that this is something that I wish to have done. Is it possible to do it surgically and if it can't be done surgically, would it be possible to do it with fillers? Any recommendations?
I like the shape of my nose and dont want to significantly alter it. However what I am curious about is whether a non surgical nose job or some other non invasive procedure can help with how my nose widens significantly when I fully smile. It always ends up looking very wide and flat in every picture.
Hi Drs. I had a rhinoplasty years ago where the nose was left upturned and flatter as well, resulting in a upwards, wider, but smaller appearance. However when I pull down the top of my nose downwards and slightly outwards, the contouring appears much better giving a thinner and longer looking nose. I know filler can be applied to slim the appearence of flatter noses by adding thin volume to the bridge, but can anything be done about the overrorated part? Thank you!
I had a revision rhinoplasty 2 years ago. I like it except my nostrils are too droopy, while my tip has been raised. I am thinkink of getting a nasal thread lift for the nostrils only. Might this be a good idea? I have attached pics of my current nose, and what I would like the results. Please help! Thank you
I want my nose to be slimmer from the front. What are my options ? I heard nose threads would be good. Any way I can avoid a rhinoplasty ? I want my nose slimmer from the front and less big from the side maybe
