Will a nose job help my protruding nose?

The projection of your nasal tip should be around the length of your upper lip. Hello, I cannot tell from the pictures where the area of concern is. Regardless, this is a judgment call you will have to make. If it is really important to you to shave this bump, then go to a reputable surgeon to get it done. Otherwise, leave it alone.

 From the very limited photographs, it appears the nose looks pretty good and it might not be worth only a couple millimeters of change to undergo the entire nasal procedure.  The Photographs also demonstrate a weak and recessive chin profile which makes the nose look bigger. Consider a small chin implant to give a more masculine chin which would help with facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to the overly projecting nose.

Your concerns about your nose protruding too far out may be a concern about nasal tip projection. Plastic surgeons often use measurements of the length of the nose and can compare this to the projection of the tip. There are standard views that are needed to give an opinion. I suggest you go online and find that information. The face, from hairline to upper neck and chin, should occupy most of the photograph.The background should always be a solid, dark color, like blue or black, and not a candid shot, in a furnished roomOn your photographs, I cannot observe any necessity for surgery.
