I had breast augmentation and have now got thyroid cancer. Can this cause any complications in my BA recovery?

I'm sorry to hear of your recent thyroid cancer diagnosis. Your thyroid removal should not interfere with the healing from your breast augmentation. I encourage you to discuss your situation with both your plastic surgeon and oncologist.

your recent diagnosis of thyroid cancer should have no effect on your recovery process. I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.

Your breast augmentation should not interfere with treatment of your thyroid malignancy. The yhyroid procedure should be performed when feasible.
If any anti-cancer drugs are required, however, they may interfere with breast augmentation healing, depending upon how long ago your breast procedure was performed.
Discuss this issue with your treating physician.
