I am looking to have a bbl next year and would like a surgeons opinion on whether I will get a good result. Also whether gaining a few kgs will help me. I am 170cm and 62kg fit and healthy. 42 years old. Although on slim side I do have curves and am in shape, although I have fat around lower torso some on the back and at the waist. I’m asking whether around 3kg weight gain could help maximise my results for my frame?
Answer: Liposuction Candidate Thanks for the question. I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour also, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: Skinny BBL Thanks for your question. A BBL requires 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the upper arms and chin. Based on your desired results, you may be asked to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience with Skinny BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

I am attaching a video I hope you find helpful that describes liposuction techniques that I use to help enhance the appearance of the buttocks. Answer: 170cm, 62kg, will I get good results from a BBL & will gaining a few KGs help me? Hello @benny1981, thank you for your question. The results are associated with the having a good surgical technique, ensuring to use the technology to get the most optimal results and the specialist experience performing this procedure. In my opinion you don't need to gain more weight to have a BBL or gluteal lipoinjection. In fact, gaining more weight would alter the results. In BBL, fat from other areas of the body is transferred to the buttocks. Therefore, if you put on weight before the procedure it won't be as effective as when you are at your normal weight. For more information and recommendations consult one or several board certified plastic. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: BBL candidate Dear benny1981, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
