Hello! I don't like my lips at all, they're way too small for my face and I was planning on having fillers. My question is, is it possible to make them wider and fuller at the same time without it looking unnatural? Thank you!
Answer: Lip Augmentation Perfect For You mellersss. It appears from your photographs that you are an excellent candidate for a lip augmentation.I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm Ultra plus to see if you like the look. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. It is done under local anesthesia and fat is usually taken from the lower abdomen or thighs. Studies show that at least 1/3 of transferred fat last forever. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!

Answer: Lip augmentation Dear mellersss,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns. I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Surgical and non surgical options Thanks for your question. In terms of possible solutions to your concerns, the non-surgical route is through the use of fillers and these can be administered in such a way that the corners are extended. You do need to be careful not to overfill here and end up with more a of a duck billed look. The other method I like to use is a corner lip lift. This will extend the width of the mouth and also increase more of the red part of the lip around the corners of the mouth. It is a local anaesthetic procedure and generally takes about 45 minutes to an hour. If you have an overactive depressor muscle (that makes you frown while at rest) then this can also be addressed at the same time. I hope this is of help to youBWRohit

Answer: Lips! Thanks for your question, There are several options, fillers can be used to change the shape of the lips and make them "wider," you may also want to look into the Lip Lift procedure as this can permanently reshape your lips. Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb Jr.
