Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, with fillers you can achieve a softer, less pointed look to your cupid's bow. Additionally, with careful and strategic placement of filler, the marionette lines (or down-turned corners of the mouth) can be improved as well. Often times a bit of Botox is placed in the muscles responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth downward in order to give it an opposite effect. With a combination of fillers and Botox, I believe you will get a nice outcome. Be sure to seek an experienced injector who specializes in facial aesthetics for best results. Good luck.
To have a lasting result is difficult for this region. There are surgical results that provide a more lasting result. Take a look at the weblink provided. You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
You can make the cupid's bow rounder or more pointed easily by fillers and you can turn up the corners of the mouth just as easily.
Thank you for your question. You may benefit for lip lift surgery. If you would prefer a non-surgical procedure, then I suggest you consider fat injections, which are the only natural method for permanent results. Please consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to develop a treatment plan.Best wishes,
Thank you for your question! I am pretty sure your concerns can be addressed, this is one of my favorite thing to do! And to answer your question. But it might involve more than one therapy. Fillers could potentially soften your Cupid's bow area and threading and fillers could help subtly redirect your modiolus (corner of your mouth) upward or at least make them more horizontal.
Yes. You can also use your own fat for results that will last many years instead of just 6 to 12 months.
This is one of my favorite thing to do! And to answer your question, I am pretty sure your concerns can be addressed. But it might involve more than one therapy. Fillers could potentially soften your Cupid's bow area and threading and fillers could help subtly redirect your modiolus (corner of your mouth) upward or at least make them more horizontal. It is very important, in my opinion, to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with both cosmetic surgery, and with minimally invasive procedures (fillers, threads, etc...) to help you achieve your goals. It is only with a solid knowledge of anatomy, tissue dynamics as well as aesthetics, that will give you the best chance of the look you're going for.I hope this helps!
This area is notoriusly hard to treat as even a facelift doesn't cure the "bull dog" look. Fillers like you said can make it worse or they can make it better. The key is careful analysis before lip injections. I take pictures and review them in detail with my patients before I inject. Avoid places that do the same injection techniques for all lips. Thank you for your photo. Your cupids bow can be made softer with filler placement in order to blunt the sharp angle at the tip. Filler correctly placed at the corner of the mouth can help add support and lift to reduce the amount of "frowning" or downwards turning of the mouth. Hope this helps!Johnson C. For comfort during the procedure we always use ice and then offer topical numbing cream, or a dental block for complete comfort. Both options are provided in office to our patients, and the patient is allowed to choose. Each provider may have a different protocol when performing injections. Best...
First off--let me say that your lips are gorgeous! The are balanced and have a beautiful shape. That creasing on the sides of the upper lip often happens when the volume in the body of the lip is increased. The supporting structures of the cutaneous lip (the part of the lip...
At my West Hollywood office, no less than 90% of my patients list Aderall as a medication. Rest assured it does not interfere with any cosmetic procedures whatsoever.
