I got my lips last injected a year ago. I've had 0.5 ml injected 3x over the past 5 years. I've never had a problem with migration until now. I'm hesitant about getting them dissolved due to horror stories I've heard but don't know how common it is to have undesired effects. I like the size and shape of the red part of my lips currently but hate the puffiness above my lips. Do you think that will dissolve on its own over the next 6 months or should I just get it dissolved? I had restalyne refine by the way.
I have been unhappy with my lips for years because they get too thin when I smile and the upper gums are more visible on the left side of my mouth when I smile. I tried a lip flip but did not like the results because I felt it pulled my lip down over my upper teeth too much. I also can't really define my cupids bow because when I smile the middle of the bow gets pulled to the left. Is there anything to help address these concerns? I figured Botox, lip filler, or a lip lift were good places to start when looking for solutions.
The original injector insisted it was swelling for the first year and now says that it looks to be permanent. Can this be dissolved at this stage or can I get additional filler elsewhere in the face to make it less noticeable? My lips are thinning with age but I'm afraid to get more filler
I have been getting lip filler for about two years now, but lately I havent liked the way they look. I am considering the Russian Lip technique. I have heard that previous lip fillers must be dissolved first. Do you agree? If so, what would that entail? Im scared to go through all that.
I had Juvederm lip filler 2 years ago and it has slightly migrated above my top lip line unevenly. I had a consult and was told Juvederm is notorious for migrations. She also said if we dissolved it, it will likely just migrate again. Is that true? I'd hate it if my lip were ruined for lip filler forever.
Hi, I have some migrated filler over the corners of my lips. It looks like two small balls on the sides of my lips. This happened when I got 1ml of ha filler in september 2023. Will this migrated filler go away on its own soon? Some mri tests revealed that filler sticks around for even a decade or more. Also we know that treated areas retain volume because of collagen. So what should I do? Should I leave it alone or should I use hyal? It's unregulated and there are stories about it though.
