I have quite thin natural lips, and I want to get something done to make them look 'poutier' (as in moving the vermillion border upwards on the top, and adding a bit of volume), and also a bit wider to balance my face (see pics), so I'm considering combining a lip lift with 1-1.5ml lip filler (Russian technique). Is this realistically achievable? I'm scared that they will just end up looking overfilled and duckish.
Context: Im a 25 year old. I have extremely deep creases on my lips (in spite of being hydrated, and using humectants & locking them in with occlusives on my lips). The deepest creases I have are along my bottom lip. The ONLY thing I want to change about my lips is smoothing these creases (not changing the shape, color, or size of my lips). I do not want to use any kind of filler. Is there any documented or case of treating lip creases without filler by a physician?
I like the overall shape of my lower lip but there is a small bump of superficial filler on the right side. I feel like its superficial as that part is a different pigment and you can see a light bump. I dont want to inject hyalase into it as Im worried this will dissolve the surrounding filler too. Is it possible to inject saline just into that area to spread the filler and make it less visible? I heard you can also poke it out with a needle but Im not sure if this will leave the lips uneve
In April, I had just under a syringe of RHA2 injected into my lips. Afterwards, I noticed 2 very deep lines above and next to the left side of my lip. Upon informing the injector of the issue, she attempted to fill the lines with filler. I had her dissolve them thereafter as they created noticeable lumps. Fast forward to now, and the deep lines remain. Would love any feedback as to what the point of causation could have been and how best to remediate it! Thanks in advance! :)
I had liquid silicone injections in my lips years ago. Some of it dissipated on the upper part of my upper lip after recently having dental surgery and having pressure applied to the upper lip. I liked how the upper lip looked before my dental surgery it was fuller. I would like to know if I can get filler put in my lip now?
Hi, I have always had extremely small lips and finally went to see someone about it. At my first visit I got 0.6 ml of restalyne. After, I of course had some swellingand my top lip looked like it had a shelf or a white mustache. That never went away. I went back 3 weeks later and spoke to the practitioner about it and we finished the rest of the syringe. Now, its only noticeable to me in some lighting. My lips are still very small and I would like to get another syringe, but am worried
I had filler done in November 2023. Immediately, after the filler was injected, my lips swelled up and turned blue with a bruise mostly in one spot - upper left. She dissolved but it didn't completely get rid of left side I think. Now, ever since, my lip repeatedly cracks and peels, heals but then immediately crack and peels again. I don't feel safe going back to her. I believe she used teoxane. Any advice? I have limited access to medical care.
I've had my lips done multiple times in the past, but the last time was in January 2020, but I can still see it in my top lip and it looks like it's migrated slightly. Will it ever go down on its own or would I need it dissolved?
Hi there, Ive been trying to do my own research but I know Im missing context. Is there any concern with residual unreacted BDDE (used for crosslinking) left in the final product of lip filler? Or is there a lip filler that contains less BDDE like restylane vs Juvederm?
