Dr Robb did my very first surgical procedures. I was never not impressed by Dr Robb & his staff. Even tho I’ve moved on, I never have anything negative to say. I always refer people. When it’s time for a facelift, and I can’t say I will not return to Dr Robb, because in my opinion he is as good as they come. I had a neck left lift & chin implant about 2 years ago. I am still nothing but happy with my outcome. I am so happy I did it!
I am embarrassed it has taken me this long to share this feedback. Dr Robb and his staff are absolutely amazing. I had several procedures performed about 6 months ago in his office. Absolute top-notch care and professionalism in every aspect. I honestly don't know how he provides this level of service to all of his patients but have had several friends experience the same. The day of my procedure, I had trouble managing my pain after getting home. I went back to his office after hours (7pm that night) and he met us there to help get the pain under control and make sure everything was okay. I had my procedure done the week before Christmas and he made plans to meet me the 26th even though the office was closed because my stitches were ready to come out. Most other doctors would have just waited until the office was back open to remove them but he is so precise - he said when it's time, it's time regardless of whether it is a holiday or not. The staff are all so incredibly kind and on top of every little detail. I never wait for any appt - everything seems to always be timed out to a tee. Most importantly, I am very happy with my results. They are natural and I still look like myself completely, just tighter and more well rested. Thank you to Dr Robb and his staff for a great experience!!
My experience with Dr. Robb and his team was phenomenal. I went in for a septorhinoplasty, and came out with renewed confidence, better breathing, and a nose I feel I was always meant to have! I had my surgery back in May of 2023, so I am now almost 8 months post-op! It takes up to a year to fully heal, and seeing as how I’m only four months away from that milestone, I think it’s the perfect time to review my experience. I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I was a teenager. After puberty, I started noticing things I didn’t like about my nose. There was a bump on the bridge, the tip was droopy, and my septum was deviated making the whole thing look crooked on my face. Dr. Robb was able to remove the bump and give me a more sloped profile. He lifted the tip and it no longer drops when I smile. He also corrected my deviated septum, making my nose look straighter and, more importantly, making it easier for me to breathe. Dr. Robb did everything I asked of him, and I think the results are extremely natural - no one ever believes I’ve had work done when I tell them teehee! He seems to have a very holistic approach, taking into account how your nose fits with the rest of your face. Every nose is unique to the individual and he treats it as such. One of my biggest fears about this procedure was that I’d ruin the functionality of my nose in pursuit of aesthetic improvement. After my initial consultation with Dr. Robb, I knew I had nothing to worry about. He is very thoughtful about preserving structural integrity and ameliorating weak points in the anatomy you were born with. If anything, my nose works better after the surgery than it did before. I traveled from out of town for my procedure, and didn’t have any problems. I stayed in Alpharetta for a week. I flew in the day before my surgery and left a week later, after my cast was removed. The area is beautiful, and I would honestly go back to visit just for fun! Dr. Robb uses an ultrasonic rhinoplasty technique which is less aggressive during surgery and, in turn, results in a shorter, less painful recovery. I bruised very minimally and the pain was easily manageable with the pain meds provided. I had to fly home the day my cast was removed, and I remember being worried that I’d get strange looks in the airport - I thought I was going to be walking around looking like I lost a fight. Thankfully, that did not happen. I’d honestly be surprised if anyone noticed anything. At that point in my recovery (again, only a week out), I had no signs of bruising or redness. All that remained was some swelling. As far as how I was treated by Dr. Robb and his team: I have nothing but nice things to say! Rita, whom I spoke with on the phone several times and whom I met with at my consultation and after my surgery, was always extremely warm and patient with me. She answered my many questions, and was encouraging without being pushy. Dr. Robb has a lovely bedside manner. He is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I truly think he’s found his life’s purpose, and I couldn’t be more happy for him (and the lucky patients he helps)! I particularly appreciated the prayer we shared before going into the operating room. He also called to check in on me right after my surgery, and it was comforting to know that he was there if I needed anything. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me remember their names, but I would be remiss to not mention how kind the anesthesiologist and nurse were the day of my surgery. They were both calm and collected which really helped me relax. I felt I was in good hands. And I was. Again, I do not know people’s names, but everyone in the office was very bubbly and positive. Also, Robyn and Nicole at the front desk have been SO SO considerate and helpful when it came to scheduling my follow-up appointments. I have an unpredictable school and work schedule, and they’ve been so understanding anytime I’ve needed to reschedule. Overall, I am more than satisfied with my choice to have a septorhinoplasty performed by Dr. Robb. I don’t think I could ask for more. Before my surgery, I used to daydream about how I wished my nose looked. I’d edit photos of myself to see how I’d look if “this” or “that” was tweaked. I’d instinctually lift my hand to cover my nose anytime I smiled or laughed. I’d sometimes run my fingers over the bump on my nose and wish I could just press down and it would disappear. Near the end of the pandemic, I remember being upset when the mask mandate was removed, because I actually LIKED wearing my mask - it hid my biggest insecurity, after all. But, I don’t worry about any of that anymore. To be honest, I don’t think about my nose very much at all. I definitely don’t obsess over it like I used to. There’s a certain peace of mind that this surgery has given me. It’s a peacefulness more valuable than any cute nose could ever be. But, thanks to Dr. Robb and his team, I get to have my cute nose too! Best of luck to anyone on their rhinoplasty/septorhinoplasty journey! :)
I got a septorhinoplasty with Dr.Robb Jr in December 2021 & I’m now 2 years in and I can happily say I’m very happy with the results . My natural nose was very large with a big hump. During consultation , Dr.Robb jr listened to what I wanted and showed me different results , I showed him photos too for reference and He made it clear he goes for natural FUNCTIONING noses , ( no point in having a tiny cute button nose if you can’t breath out of it ) & I ended up securing a surgery date & everything went very smoothly & post - Op was a breeze ! I researched a lot and seen many girls get raccoon eyes and a lot of swelling and basically a rough recovery . Mines was soo smooth hardly any bruising & mild swelling pain felt more like a headache than anything . & of course I can breathe well and my nostrils are even . Jan 2024 and my nose is still straight and looks exactly the same , I have had no complications. My nose does look very natural when I tell classmates they don’t believe I had a nose job . very glad I chose him as my doctor and would do it again , I use to be really self conscious and insecure bout my large nose and side profile and now that doesn’t even cross my mind ! I’m also very thankful I didn’t get botched .
This is going to be a long review because I know I enjoyed reading them prior to my surgery. Dr. Robb and his staff are without hesitation the best doctors office I have ever been to. I visited Dr. Robb for a consultation after my dog hit me in the nose and I developed headaches. I had already met with an ENT, and I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Robb because he was double board certified in ENT and plastic surgery. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Dr. Robb was incredibly thorough when explaining to me exactly what was going on in my nose and how he would go about fixing it. He explained that my deviated septum was likely causing the headaches, and it was called "Sluder's syndrome". He asked if I would like to make any changes to the look of my nose and I noted that I had been a little insecure about my nose and was open minded since he was already going to be opening up my nose, so he explained that process as well. He made detailed notes of what was going on and what he would do, and took several pictures where he made notes about my nose. I had instant access to these notes immediately following the treatment. Rita was wonderful and explained that I could get either a standalone septoplasty or a septorhinoplasty and provided quotes for each. There was no selling, and they never made me feel like I needed a rhinoplasty in addition to the septoplasty. The changes he suggested were very conservative, and I felt like there was no way he would just put a "fad-nose" on my face if I chose to do the septorhinoplasty. Here are the reasons I chose Dr. Robb: 1) this guy is an ENT first, plastic surgeon second when it comes to your nose. He is all about function and making sure that your nose works well and looks good. Check out his credentials and why he got into plastic surgery in the first place--this guy really cares about improving people's lives. 2) the office is so clean I would actually eat a candy if it dropped on the floor 3) everyone in the place is super delightful and they are all very thorough--totally people you can trust to take care of you 4) While Dr. Robb was more expensive that other doctor's price ranges I looked at online, he also has his own surgery center, and that was worth a little extra. This guy runs a tight ship and everything is super clean and they even make sure the temperature is appropriate for surgery. He is not cutting corners anywhere in this business and it is very apparent. It's literally the cleanest, most orderly doctors office I've been to. 5) the ultrasonic tool sounded way better than hammers and chisels! 6) he mentioned international rhinoplasty techniques as he was explain to me, and he is very up to date with the best practices in nose surgery. I made a super quick decision and there was an opening, so I had my surgery in less than a month after my first call with Rita. I'm not going to lie, I was totally freaked out and questioning if I was making the right decision by having the surgery (not in choosing Dr. Robb, that was a no-brainer). All of the sudden, the nose I had been insecure about looked fine, and even beautiful to me, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to change it. I thought I could breathe just fine, and the only issue with my deviated septum was that it was pressing on my turbinate and causing headaches. I had major cold feet, and I have to be honest and say that if I didn't have such confidence in Dr. Robb and his team, I may have backed out. I went forward with the surgery and as far as a surgery goes, I can't imagine it being any better. Everyone was so nice the day of surgery and they made me feel completely at ease. As with the consultation, the surgery room was immaculate, and there was fun music playing in there. The minute they hooked me up to the anesthesia, I was out and didn't remember anything until I was home in bed several hours later. I wasn't sure what to expect, I was hoping the ultrasonic was going to be a less painful recovery than what I had read about in other realself reviews. Here are the worst parts from my experience--I hated how the anesthesia made me feel, and I did not enjoy not being able to breathe at night for four days following the surgery while the splints were in. The rest of the experience was pretty low key. I did have some swelling in my face, but no bruising at all and the splints caused a weird feeling that I didn't like, but I wouldn't say I was in pain. I didn't take any pain pills or even Tylenol. I worked the very next day remotely and my coworkers said I was definitely swollen, but they were shocked I was attending meetings in the days following the surgery. Once they took the splints out(which is quick but gross), I could breathe like I had never breathed before. I thought my breathing was fine before, and I could not believe the difference. It was almost like too much air was going up my nose at first! Five days after surgery I could breathe better, the swelling went down and I was back to normal with a nose cast. I'm six weeks out now and I am super happy with the state of my nose. When the cast first came off, I was a little shocked with the way it looked--it was super swollen, so it looked a little like a turned up piggy nose. The nurse explained that Dr. Robb does things in surgery to account for the healing process, because scar tissue and gravity with affect things as the nose heals-- just another example of how much Dr. Robb pays attention to detail, and he is thinking about your nose for the long haul. Overall, I could not be more happy with the whole experience with Dr. Robb's office. If you are considering a septoplasty/rhinoplasty, or both, I would 100% recommend Dr. Robb. He's worth traveling for and there is a hotel right down the way if you're not from Georgia.
I had buccal fat removal in 2020. I wanted to achieve less volume in my lower face. So, one month post op I noticed a difference after the swelling decreased. 6 months in, I noticed more of an indented look. So basically this procedure has the middle/lower part of my face sunken in. I have aged almost 10 years. My lower face/jowls is literally sagging. I now have lines where I did not before. My face is ruined. LISTEN TO ME….DO NOT remove the underlying fat pads in your face!!! This is detrimental to the aging process!!! I look like a crackhead with my face sunken in!!! Look into other options if you want a slimmer jawline or contour!!! I am literally wearing a mask to cover my face. Now I have to spend thousands of dollars for a facelift so that I can look normal again. Dr. Robb is great. Wish I would’ve considered and researched this procedure before moving forward. I regret it. Updated on 26 Jun 2022: Here are my before/after pictures for the buccal pad procedure. I contemplated a fat transfer to correct this. But that wasn’t going to the correct the sagging. I have now undergone a mini facelift that I’m very satisfied with. If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten face lipo. Please don’t remove your inner fat pads.
I went to dr Robb for buccal fat removal and fat transfer. I’ve looked at a lot of plastic surgeons and ended up choosing dr Robb. I’m happy with the choice I’ve made! The doctor is very professional, I trusted him and had no doubts I’d love the results! The stuff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. I felt comfortable asking any questions I had. I definitely recommend this place!
I was scared at first, (I hate needles) I have been wanting to do it a long time so when Restylane Kysse came out I had to do it! Over time my lips which were fine up until the mid 50's just went away! The Staff and Dr. Robb were wonderful and the numbing cream worked pretty well, I felt very very minor pinches but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! I love the look!! I feel like my lips look like they did when I was 20 only better!!! Updated on 17 May 2022: For me Kysse did not last, which is odd because I have restylane in tear trough area and it has lasted and Ive been happy with it. After about two months it was gone completely. Will not be doing it again.
The care and the quality of work I received from Dr. Robb and his team was incredible. I’ve always been self conscious about the dorsal hump on my nose and a few minor breathing concerns. Dr. Robb listened to my concerns and knew how important it was to me, that regardless of the changes I wanted the end result to look natural. The minimally invasive procedure was painless and the results were immediate. I am now 2 months post op and have never felt more beautiful. My dorsal hump is gone, swelling has reduced by over 70% and I am breathing better than ever before. Thank you to the entire team at Robb Facial Plastic Surgery for making this dream a reality.
I saw Dr. Robb for a rhinoplasty procedure where I asked for some pretty drastic changes. I'd accepted that I would probably always have the "they clearly had a nose job" look because the result would be so different from my natural features, but I was so miserable from hating my appearance that I decided it was worth it. Not only was Dr. Robb able to fix every issue I had, my nose actually looks much more natural and more suited to my face than it did before. In addition, he and his staff and nurses are some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I felt supported, informed, and comfortable every step of the way. Please give them a call if you are considering surgery!
Thank you for your question! The simple answer is yes- from the photos, you appear to be a great candidate for a rhinoplasty. This can mean different things to different people. I would recommend seeking a facial plastic surgeon who performs these procedures regularly to discuss the procedure with you. I also focus on improving breathing for my patients through rhinoplasty. The specifics of your expectations can be discussed in a consultation where your surgeon can discuss whether or not the expectations are reasonable. Hope this helps an God Bless!Dr. Robb Jr.
Thanks for your question, These treatments require specialists in my opinion. The great news is that long term damage or issues is very unlikely as this medicine will wear out eventually. It will likely take 2-5 months for this to improve.
Hello! The answers to your question is time and technique. Time will help this no matter what- how "normal" it becomes will depend on the technique used to perform your rhinoplasty. if things were fixed strongly to the base- stiffness could be the new normal- these are things that you can discuss with your surgeon. Hope this helps and God Bless! Dr. Robb Jr.
Perhaps this may help, You'd benefit from a Pre-jowl chin implant and revision neck and facelift. The chin implant will fill the pre-jowl area and make the jowl appearance soften. Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb Jr.
Hello and thanks for your question, An in person evaluation should be held to see what exactly is going on with your nose. It does appear in your photos that the tip is deviated. This itself can impair breathing. Other things that need to be evaluated are the septum, inferior turbinates, and the valve systems. I would recommend seeking the advice from a surgeon who performs a lot of rhinoplasty and these sort of surgeries.
