Hello! Thank you for your question.I have evaluated your photos and in my opinion, from my experience, I highly recommend you a rhinoplasty surgery combined with chin implant to move your chin area forward and give an elegant side profile.
Based on your photos, the tip of your nose appears to stick out a bit far and droops. I suspect that the droopiness of your nasal tip is worsened with smiling. Depending upon your condition, rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a less distracting nasal appearance. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
I'd recommend that you start by consulting with a plastic surgeon who does a lot of work in the face, so that they can examine you in person, take medical-grade photos, and give you an assessment. Based on the pictures, you could consider a rhinoplasty with a slight dorsal hump reduction and setting the tip back slightly while rotating it. This may be all you need. It's possible that some augmentation to your chin could help, because your last picture makes it seem like your chin appearance may benefit from that. A "weak" or smaller chin often brings out the nose and makes it appear disproportionately large.
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs.Changes in the nasal tip length as well as the bridge contour adjust the perception of the profile. They can work together with changes in the projection of the chin.Because individual preferences vary significantly, I suggest that the best option would be to have a consultation using computer imaging and simulations to allow you to decide what contour changes for the nose or the chin or for both of them would make you feel you have achieved your goals.
Based on these photos, there may be a possiblity for a profile improvement involving rhinoplasty. Since you are not quite sure that you wont that surgery, it would be best if you could have a 3D simulation of projected result. A bussy board certified plastic surgeon, with good rhinoplasty practice, should have such a tool in his/her practice. Good luck.
Hello,Surgical rhinoplasty can help you in improving the side profile of your face. Your nose can be made slightly smaller by de-projecting it and slightly rotating the tip and making it more defined. It is better for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can assess you and discuss the expected outcome of the surgery. Also, the surgeon can give you advise whether you need any intervention in your chin after examining you.
This is a very personal decision if whether to proceed with a rhinoplasty. Nonetheless, a reduction of the bridge would make your nose softer and maybe more attractive for you.
If you feel your profile is ugly, I'll bet it's the nose. You didn't mention exactly what it is about your nose that bugs you, but from these photos, I'd consider elevating the tip, a bunch, and bringing the tip and bridge and entire nose back closer to your face, so it doesn't look as prominent. I'll bet that would address what you're seeing.Your mouth, by the way, looks great to me. Wouldn't touch it. And botox for the jaw won't do anything at all.How *much* to elevate the tip, or deproject the nose, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)I'd love for you to see some excellent morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. It might make you feel better about the possibilities and help you plan your ideal goal. Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. For most noses, it's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. And it also discusses how to take photos that are best for online evaluations.
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty, I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. In your case, I would consider a small chin implant. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Most plastic surgeons like to perform lip lift procedures at a separate time. Best wishes to you.
