Will 5 Liters of 360 lipo give me my curvy body back? (Photo)

Question

I'm 45 yo and used to have the perfect body at 25. I would love to have 360 lipo and a bbl to smooth out my shape. I'm 5'5, 216 lb measurements 38 DD-30-49. I could probably use a breast lift too. I gained weight over the years as high as 280lbs. I love how I look in clothes but would love to look good in a swimwear swimsuit. Is plastic surgery possible for my size? I can take all constructive criticism :) Thanks in advance

You need to lose weight first before undergoing any cosmetic procedure to get the best outcome. For best results, it is recommended to be at your ideal or stable weight before getting a sculpting liposuction procedure. Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure, rather it is for sculpting and defining and removing problem areas that cannot be removed with weight loss and diet / exercise alone. With skin laxity, a tummy tuck or lifting procedure could be performed at the same time. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a bariatric doctor or dietitian. Best, Dr. Emer

photographs and degree of skin laxity, you are a better candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  This can be done through a low and short
incision, all completely below the bikini line. 
The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on
the exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. Back liposuction can be performed at the same time for improvement in your back.  
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

5L is the limit for outpatient liposuction.  It is not recommended to exceed a 5 liter threshold for a variety of reasons:  lidocaine toxicity, blood loss, electrolyte imbalances, and risk of DVT.

liposuction would be a good start for contouring your body, but you have to realize that this will loosen your skin all around. It seems to me that you would be best served by a tummy tuck combined with liposuction, because liposuction of the abdomen will lead to increased  looseness of the skin and not give an aesthetic result.

With a BMI of 35.9, I recommend shedding about 35 pounds to increase the probability of optimal results and to minimize risks of complications during and after surgery.  Liposuction of multiple areas can be performed at the same time as the TT in a healthy patient. 5 liters of 360 degree liposuction will create some improvements in contour in the treated areas but will not by itself achieve your goals. Excess skin will need to be removed which means a tummy tuck for the abominable area. Prior to tummy tuck and liposuction diet and exercise are recommended. Plastic surgery procedures are most effectively done after weight loss rather than for weight loss.
