What are the best options to treat sagging skin on the lower half of the face for a 30 year old? Is a lower facelift an option? I'd like something long lasting! My main concerns are quite deep nasolabial folds and jowls. I've attached photos to show skin sagging but I'm unsure whether part of the issue with my jowls/chin is caused by fat and whether this would be fixed with a lift alone? I'm skinny with a low BMI but understand that fat deposits there could be caused by genetics.
Answer: Face Your photos are not helpful since they do not show your whole face. I would suggest meeting with a plastic surgeon and discussing noninvasive radiofrequency treatments like Secret and minimally invasive like Renuvion. Surgery is not really an option at your age.

Answer: Consider your options for treating sagging skin Thank you for your question and photos. You may benefit from a combination of liposuction and RF microneedling to treat sagging skin. Facial liposuction is ideal for removing excess fat from the neck and below the chin, creating a more sculpted neck and jawline contour. This procedure can be combined with RF microneedling treatments, which increase the body’s collagen production to improve the skin’s elasticity, quality, and texture. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to assess your concerns and help you decide on the best course of action.

Answer: Neck lift From what I can see in your photos, you may be a candidate for a deep plane neck lift. Standardized photos of your face (frontal, oblique, lateral , and lateral with chin down) are necessary to determine if a you would also benefit from a facelift.

Answer: Skin Tightening -- VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction, ThermiRF, Renuvion, Thermage, Ultherapy, Novathreads / Instalift, BodyTite "These are all natural parts of the aging process. What we can do is try preventative treatments or get a neck lift / face lift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous non-surgical options available, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a consultation with an expert. Some options for skin tightening include: - Thermage radiofrequency to heat the skin, tighten it over time, and prevent the aging process - Ultherapy high-intensity ultrasound to contract the muscle, tighten the face and neck, and prevent the aging process - PDO NovaThreads or InstaLift threads for immediate lifting without surgery and long-term collagen production - Sculptra injections for collagen production to areas of the face and neck with crepey skin or early sagging - BTL Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Thermi250 for monthly collagen stimulation with facials - ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma), or Inmode BodyTite for internal heating and tightening with or without surgery - Fillers (or facial implants) to contour the jawline and chin to improve the appearance of the neck - Face lift / neck lift with fat grafting and fillers if you need a significant improvement I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Sagging skin on the lower face There are several options for treating sagging skin on the lower half of the face, including non-surgical treatments such as injectable fillers and surgical options such as a lower facelift. Injectable fillers can be used to temporarily fill in deep nasolabial folds and add volume to the cheeks, creating a more youthful and lifted appearance. However, fillers are not a long-term solution and will need to be repeated every few months to maintain the desired results. A lower facelift, on the other hand, is a surgical procedure that can provide long-lasting results by tightening and lifting the skin and underlying muscles of the lower face and neck. This procedure can address sagging jowls and deep nasolabial folds, as well as excess skin under the chin. In terms of whether a lower facelift alone would address your concerns, it is important to have a consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your individual needs and determine the best course of action. It is possible that you may benefit from a combination of procedures, such as a lower facelift and liposuction to address any excess fat in the jowl area. Overall, it is important to have realistic expectations about the outcomes of any procedure and to choose a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon who can guide you through the decision-making process and provide the best possible results. I hope this helps, best of luck !
