Is it safe to have this many procedures done at once?

Hello, hope you are well. Thanks for posting your information and questions! Generally speaking, these procedures can be done together safely. In our surgery center, combinations of procedures like this are done on a routine basis. However, that is what we are setup to do. The surgeon should be experienced with performing a sequence of procedures like this, but the anesthesia staff, nursing staff, and facility should also be prepared for your surgery. Going for destination surgery is like having a destination wedding--make sure that you've done your diligence in ensuring they are capable of providing the experience that you expect. Only with additional medical information about you can it be determined if this is safe or not. You should be prepared to be asleep for a good long while (my guess is at least 6 hours), and depending on your body's physical state, that might be too much or just fine.

You are having a great deal of surgery at one time, in a foreign country, and plan on leaving 10 days later? I think that you have to use your common sense in this circumstance. I would not personally do such a thing and wouldn't recommend it to a family member.

There are three things to be concerned about when considering multiple surgeries at once:
1) How long you will be under anesthesia.2) Whether the doctor will have the stamina to complete all the surgeries well.3) Whether some of the surgeries are best to be performed in a staggered manner to get the very best result.
I would ask your physician these questions.

It is impossible to answer your question without knowing more about your medical history. Surgical safety depends on the proper preoperative evaluation of the patient taking in to account their medical issues as well as the skill of the surgeon and anesthesiologist. It is not one size fits all. Be sure to bring discuss any health conditions with your surgeon as well as your plans for travel. It is a long way to go if you need any followup

Hi and thank you for your question. What you describe is certainly an extensive surgical plan. The answer really depends on the experience, efficiency, and ability of your surgeon. In the United States outpatient surgery center recommendations are surgeries that take less than 6-8 hours. Your surgeon should be able to estimate how long the procedure should take.
An additional consideration is management of complications. Although not frequent, you should have a plan of what to do if you have an issue and are no longer in Turkey. You may need to travel back to Turkey to have complications addressed by your surgeon and you may need to budget for this.

I’m okay with everything except the jaw reduction. What exactly is that going to entail and how much time does that add to the procedure

Combining multiple facial procedures, such as those you’ve listed, can indeed provide more harmonious and natural results by addressing various signs of aging simultaneously.
However, a 5-day stay in Turkey is not sufficient for proper recovery and monitoring. I strongly recommend staying at least 1 day before the surgery and 7-10 days after surgery to ensure your surgeon can monitor for any early complications, such as bleeding, hematomas, infections, or wound healing issues.
This extended stay will help ensure a safer recovery and better overall outcomes.
