Would a 600 cc fat transfer to the glutes make a noticeable difference? (photo)

Thank you for your question. Based on this single view photo with clothing covering up the areas that need to be sculpted, it is hard to give an answer. Your buttocks look tight ( your surgeon had the advantage of feeling the tissues), might not accept as much fat in the right places that need it. A buttock fat transfer is most successful if the torso can be sculpted 360 degrees to give the smallest waist and contour the hips. If you are nervous about your “after body”, should ask to review the surgeon’s similar cases or seek other opinions in person from board certified plastic surgeons experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques. The fat amount for fat injection is determined by factors like how much fat you have and what shape and size of buttocks you desire. Provided by the photos, we do not have a fat amount problem, we can have more than we need fat.
When I inspect your buttock region, I notice that you require fat for middle part for projection and also on both sides to give a fullness to the hip area. This looks a bit above 600 cc per side.
Like I said, the shape must be decided first and fat amount can be considered so.

Maybe but in clothing posted 1 photo really no help. Best to either repost in nude or try virtual consults with... 600 cc could give a nice shaped result.

Hello. Yes it would make a huge diference. If you have enough fat to be transfer to your buttocks you will get the shape you are looking for.

The amount of fat that can be grafted is based on the amount of host tissue you have to support the graft.
Based on your pictures the current subcutaneous fat layer of your buttocks and outer thigh is really thin.That means you don’t really have a lot of host tissue so 600 cc of fat may be more than what your body can except in a single session of fat transfer.
Volume is important but 600 cc is not a small amount for your body type and size.
What’s more important is putting the fat in the right place including blending it to the outer thigh so that you get a smooth harmonious S-curve from your knee to your armpit.
The Liposuction aspect is in fact just as important as the grafting but over grafting it serves no purpose.
We can’t really make an assessment based on your picture. We need to see your entire torso without underwear that are contributing to the contour it. The suspension band in yours is cutting it to your waist.
Pictures for a BBL need to show the entire torso and lower extremities from the shoulders to the knees taken at right angles showing the front, side and behind.

I do recommend all patients have multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons before committing to any procedure that’s going to permanently and irreversibly change your body.
During consultations review as many pictures as the provider will show you bringing pictures of your own body with you for comparison.
Seeing a handful of preselected pictures is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. For that reason that I recommend patients ask providers to open up their portfolio and show their entire collection of before and after pictures or at least as many as they are willing to.
Ask the provider to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes are less than outcomes.Ask especially to see as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own.Ask the provider with the revision rate is an asked to see pictures of patients who have had revisions before.
You should also ask the provider what their policy is on revisions if needed.
I recommend patients continue having consultations in person until they feel like they found the most talented and experience provider for their needs.
I recognize that sometimes travel makes this challenging but I do not believe a virtual consultation can allow the surgeon to make a good assessment and patients are not in the same position to vet the provider as when meeting in person.
