My 9 year old butt implants are uneven. Is a BBL to one cheek possible? (photo)

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to transfer fat to one buttcheek. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

To better evaluate the situation, I need to know these:
- Is this asymmetry new or present from the operation!- Did you have a feeling of implant burst on right side?- Do you have enough fat for correction?
So, the best way looks to be a revision gluteal implant on right side supported with hybrid fat injection. If the right side deflated with time, there might be a rupture and firstly the implant must be taken out and the pocket to be cleaned. Then a correction will be done.

It is essential to learn more about your history. Since when do you have that uneven appearance? If that is something new maybe it is better to have an MRI to evaluate implants position and condition. Fat transfer to one side is always possible if you have enough fat to fill the gap. But you should be aware that %40-60 of the fat that is transferred will survive in 3-6 months which means that you may need more than 1 session to get a permanent volume

Based on the 1 posted photo YES! lipo of areas upto 1 liter of donor fat can be attained with transfer to 1 buttock. BUT, always a but, I require an ultrasound of the buttock to see if butt implants on larger side dislodged, rupture on smaller side, if in stable position. I offer this examination in my office or you can obtain an RX for ultrasound examination. I charge of ultrasound examine $500. The majority of plastic surgeons in the United States do not offer a gluteal implants. The main reason is that this operation has very high complication rates and is inherently problematic with issues like what you describe.
Your problem is not a lack of volume on one side it is that your implant has moved to an improper position most likely from not having been placed in the muscle but rather above the muscle and then sitting on the implant.
You don’t need a BBL you need an implant revision.
There is a handful of plastic surgeons in the United States who specialize exclusively on gluteal implants. These are probably the right doctors for your situation. You can also consider going back to the Doctor Who placed your implants nine years ago.
I don’t think fat transfer is going to correct this problem.

I’d recommend putting in a new implant or removing those older ones and doing a fat transfer instead. Perhaps you can go back to your original surgeon and see what they recommend. It’s best to see you in person and address the issue. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to our forum!Buttock asymmetry after implant placement may be due to preexisting asymmetry or implant displacement. As the implants are composed of solid silicone rubber, there is no risk of deflation. An examination is required to determine the cause of this phenomenon. If due to displacement, a procedure to reposition the implant would be appropriate. One can perform a unilateral fat transfer over a previously performed buttock implant, which is usually placed within or under the gluteus musculature. Fat transfer is accomplished in the subcutaneous fat, in a different plane. Best wishes...
