Hello, I'm 43 years old and recieved 1500 Artas Fue transplants. 2 weeks post op. Im alittle concerned about the density in the temple areas. Up to this point i have noticed some hair sheding but no blood or graphs, i hope lol. I'd say i was between a Norwood 2 and 3. Just looking for some expert opinions in the area of density. Am i too worried or does it look like it will fill in nicely. Thank you

Thank you for your question. For concerns about your density so soon after your surgery, it'd be best to consult with your surgeon about this. 
In any case, unfortunately the pictures you have provided are too small to make any serious judgments. It looks good from the pics you have provided. I hope this information is helpful to you.

From the pictures that you have submitted it is difficult to make a comment on the density so soon after your procedure.  If you have questions about it though, it would be best to discuss them with your surgeon.  
Remember that the newly transplanted follicles will not grow new hairs for several months after the procedure.  In fact three quarters of the hairs that were transplanted will fall out.  When they do start growing the final result will not be apparent until 12-15 months after surgery.

Density is one of the most critical factors after hair transplantation.  Early on you may not be able to fully determine your density.  Density depends on various factors including the number of hairs  per cm squared, the thickness and vibrancy of hair, direction and design of hair.  Techniques for density vary from surgeon to surgeon.  In my office, we utilize a specialized technique that allows for optimizing density and found it to be helpful.  Best Dr. Anil Shah

Irrespective of which device or technique is used, hair transplantation is only moving hair into the "balded" areas. The new hairs are much more resistant to falling out, but the old hair in the front is still at risk. You need to considered your continued hair loss. Make sure you consult your doctor about taking finastride to protect your hair from falling out. Give the transplanted area 12 months to fall into place.

As others have pointed out, you look to be too fresh out of your procedure to jump to any conclusions regarding final outcomes, however from the pics you have attached it doesn't seem like your temples were transplanted.  I do like the hairline, and think keeping it somewhat recessed was a good idea for you, however if you were concerned with the temples, perhaps reconstruction there would have been beneficial.  In my practice we consult with our master barbers to help design the optimal hairline and temples to achieve the best aesthetic planning.  In addition we spend about half an hour on the day of the treatment to ensure the drawings match the expected outcomes so there is no questions about how the hair will grow in later. Density can be a problem in this area in patients who have received transplants to non hair bearing scalp or bald scalp.  Sometimes it takes a large amount of hair to get a thin result.  Therefor a second thickening procedure can be expected.

Thank you for posting your photos. It is difficult to see from them how much density you have. 1500 grafts is not a big a number if you are seeking very thick density. It is very early following your procedure as well. the final result will only be seen 9-12 months following the procedure.

It is difficult to determine the number of grafts transplanted and density based upon the photos.  However, two weeks post-op, is too soon to evaluate results of your FUE procedure.  It may fill in nicely, but you need to allow more time (approximately 1 year) to evaluate results. For any concerns, please return to see your physician.

It looks like you received a relatively small number of grafts for covering a large area. If you have male patterned hair loss with susceptible hair in all the frontal and transplanted area, you will need more hair to have a solid hairline.
