ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplant Q&A

I am hoping a doctor can perform an FUE using body hair. Do most surgeons extract the body hair using ARTAS or NEOGRAFT, or do they rely on their own extraction instruments?

I'm currently trying to conceive, and also hoping to have a hair transplant in the next couple of months. I'm going to schedule consultations for the hair transplant, but just curious if it would be safe to have the hair transplant while pregnant or trying. Based on similar before & after pictures online, it might be 2000 grafts (not sure if it matters). The bald patch isn't likely to change in pregnancy. I've never had a bad reaction to anesthetic and have no allergies

Is it typical that the technicians do ARTAS harvesting as well as placing grafts? The response I got from Dr was Dr does design and numbing of head. Seems to me techs do the transplant.

About how many grafts would I need to get transplanted for a full head of hair?

I have herd lots of good and bad stories about the new Artas hair transplants.. I've attached photo's of myself just took now accept the 1 with my girlfriend.. Everyone says the cost is a 12k avg and only good results if you have a doctor that knows his [RS bleep]... So how about some help? I have not lost any major hair in years, What are my chances of good results???? Please help I'm not rich I'm a carpenter by trade so this kind of money is a stretch

I'm a little concerned. It doesn't look like there's many hairs coming through. I've been using the theradome LH80 pro since Christmas time. I've been taking dutesteride about 2 months post procedure till now and continue to take it every morning as I was told. No troubles up to date, I don't play sports nor wear helmets or hats. Ever. I made sure to take care of the area with all natural chemical free shampoo as well. It wont let me upload photos, I can email to anyone willing to help. Thanks

I think Robots and computerization brings price down drastically as it may require minimum supervision . I feel it should hve been cheaper than fut. Unless insurance is driving up prices. Will prices for hair transplants using robots come down in future.

Had 2,400 grafts in Oct to crown, temples and forelock. Healing exceptionally well: most grafts did not shed, recipient area redness is gone, donor area was undetectable within 10 days. At 1 month follow-up, surgeon stated I was healing better than anyone he had seen. Had 3 month today and he said the same. Have had acne in the recipient areas. Haven't noticed much in the way of growth yet. The grafts that did not shed grew slightly in the first month, but not since. Should I be concerned?
