Would Liposuction finally get rid of my double chin? (photos)

Question

For context, I’ve had a double chin ever since I can remember. Even when I was very underweight as a young teen it was still there. I’m 21 now and would like a professional’s opinion. Here are my photos. Apologies for the bad camera quality.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). At the same time, I would recommend lasers (Fraxel, CO2, Halo, or Erbium) and microneedling RF (Fractora, Morpheus8, PiXel8, Intensif) to improve the crepey skin and wrinkles. Overall, the neck can be treated with a combination approach:

1. Microneedling and laser treatments for texture

It will also help contour your jawline and accentuate your chin. I have had many patients with similar necks as you, and they had optimal results. A double chin is generally not caused by excessive subcutaneous fat. The contour in this area is primarily dependent on bone structure. In particular the shape and size of the mandible in relationship to the Maxilla. Almost 100% of people seeking chin and deck liposuction have an insufficient undersized mandible. Individuals who have a small mandible typically have a dental overbite occlusion. Profile pictures would show the upper lip having a more forward projection in the lower lip. It’s also causes the platysma muscle to drape the neck and oblique fashion, causing a double chin. People also tend to get lack of jawline definition and premature jowls.
Liposuction can create improvements, but patient should understand that you’re fat distribution is not the underlying primary cause. The best candidate for quality Liposuction results are generally slightly overweight, young individuals. 
To get an assessment for facial, skeletal structure consider consult thing with oral surgeons as well as plastic surgeons in your community. Plastic surgeons tend to be more soft tissue oriented and then to see and treat things from a soft tissue perspective. Recognize that if the primary problem is based on bone structure then soft tissue treatment options are at best going to give you a partial improvement.
There’s also significant variation and different based on who you choose to do the procedure. Find us efficiently, experienced and talented provider by having multiple in person consultations. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of patients who add previous facial characteristics to your own. Overall same bone dynamics, similar age and similar amounts of subcutaneous fat. For reference an experienced surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 set a before, and after pictures of commonly performed procedures, like chin and neck, Liposuction.
I suggest patient start by having at least five in person, consultations and consider rescheduling more. Liposuction is a permanent and irreversible procedure. If done, poorly patients can be left disfigured and the results cannot be fixed.
The definitive procedure of creating a larger mandible may be more involved than most people are willing to go through. Sometimes having a partial improvement is justified because treating the definitive problem is simply too involved. Recognize that shit and augmentation only projects your chin, and does not advance the body of the mandible. In other words, chin augmentation will not change the angle that the platysma muscle drapes the neck.
The fact that you did not see improvement at a younger age, or at a lower BMI should tell you that fat is not the primary cause of your double chin. 
That said, well done Liposuction, especially by those who have mastered the procedure can give very impressive outcomes. I believe you have the potential for a very good quality Liposuction result as long as you find a sufficiently experienced provider. Doing so it is often more difficult than people assume. When in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Liposuction is a one time definitive procedure and choosing the right provider is the most important part of this process.
