6 months after breast lift with implants - will I need a revision to correct irregular shape? (photos)

I would wait the entire year (especially when using soft tissue support like Strattice) before worrying about the final result. I believe seeing your original surgeon who did this surgery would be beneficial.

Evaluating patients via photos is a dicey game, but if your photos are accurate, it appears your implants are in good position and locked in with the mesh; that's a good foundation. As for the rest, you'll need a minor trim along the inframammary fold on one breast to get it to a great place. The other is more difficult to evaluate, but I suspect a trim of skin there (perhaps a total revision of all incisions, I can't tell) should get it looking good too. Not a waste, but does need a revision.

Except for the dent you point out the result is really quite good. This is not an easy our region to get a result like yours especially having been operated upon several times. I would not do a revision at this point

Thank you for your question. If you feel that you have extra skin "hanging" off the implant at the bottom, you would likely benefit from a revision lift/mastopexy to remove the extra skin. There may have been some abnormal scarring to the mesh to cause the flat area. The breast tissue can continue to settle/fall even if the implant is held up by the mesh.

The larger size is not fitting your frame and breast base well. Extra skin can easily be removed in the office under local anesthesia. Go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns.

To make an assessment on the plastic surgery procedure we always need to see a complete set of before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward, the pictures they took. For individuals of had more than one operation it is ideal to see before and after pictures of each surgery to have a better understanding of what you’ve been through.
It looks like there’s spark if you contraction, possibly from the use of stratice.
Your situation is a bit complex and at this point, I think you need an in person assessment to get a better understanding of what’s going on with your breast and implants.
I suggest scheduling in person second opinion consultations with other providers in your community. For second opinion consultations come prepared bringing with you complete sets of before, and after pictures and copies of your previous operative reports. These are all available from your previous providers if you request them.
