I am 22 years old and 270lbs, I've always been really insecure about my breasts to the point that I fear being intimate with anyone. Is this procedure right for me and if now what would you recommend? Thank you in advance!

Sorry to hear that you feel that way but yes if this is something you have been considering for some time and think this will improve how you feel about your breasts than its time to consult with a plastic surgeon. Together you can discuss ideas of what you would like in appearance and whether or not that can be achieved with and implant or without. Be sure to do your research and look up before and afters along with wish pics of someone with similar body type.

A breast lift is designed for women who want to achieve a perkier breast shape, with more fullness in the upper portion. If you are unhappy with the shape of your breasts you may be a candidate.

You have a valid fear, but you may want to consider whether you’d like to be with someone who dislikes the appearance of your breasts as they are now.

You may be a candidate for an uplift of mastopexy.  You do not necessarily need implants since you have ample breast tissue.  It is important to be close to a BMI of 30 for proper healing prior to surgery.

From your photograph, you appear to have plenty of volume so you do not need implants but definitely need a lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

Brest lift will reshape them, placing them higher and perkier.

Implants can be added for more upper fullness.

The combination will drastically change your breasts. Trade off is T scars which are permanent.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to better discuss your options and expectations.

You are really more a breast reduction than a lift. I would not recommend implants placed at the same time as the lift. Do the lift first and if you want implants they can be placed three months later

Hello and thank you for posting. A breast lift/reduction with implants is possible. It will give you a nicer shape for longer, but this means we would have to excise too much breast tissue including your mammary gland to reduce the size of your breast. This will in turn reduce the possibility of breast feeding. For this and other reasons I believe a breast lift/reduction without implants is best. You have more then enough tissue to mold your breast nicely for great results, without having to add the size and weight of an implant which will inevitably weigh down your breasts and make them sag faster. Because contrary to some beliefs, implants do not lift breasts, in some cases they may actually do the oposite.

Yes, you would do well with a lift and may have plenty of tissue and not need implants. Otherwise, I would suggest not going with large implants because your tissue may not hold extra weight well.

As patients gain weight the breast becomes larger and falls. The best surgical candidate is someone with weight close to the ideal. I would recommend weight loss before surgery. Significant weight loss after surgery may result in further volume loss and possible need for corrective surgery.
