Wondering about implant size. Would a mid C cup seem fitting or large? I am 5’10” 144 lbs. (photos)

I can't really comment on the breast since you have a bra on, but based on the size of your breasts, I don't think that lift alone would get you the desired size/shape you want to be. Tuberous breasts can be associate with herniated nipples and certain degrees of lower pole constriction. Obviously I can't tell what you have. In my hands, I use a Sientra HSC+ either Low Plus or Moderate profile implant. I do not use large sizes. I place it either subfascial with mesh support or subpectoral. Best of Luck!

Hello, thank you for your question. A lift alone will not increase the size of the breast, since it will be reshapen it may in fact appear a bit smaller. If you are considering a small implant, speak to your plastic surgeon about the outcomes and goals you are looking to achieve.

First, using bra cups as any sort of reliable method of breast volume measurement or as some sort of goal will only lead you to disappointment and re-operation. Instead, your surgeon should either offer in office sizing or 3D simulation software to help you choose an appropriate implant size. As for optimum results, if your breasts are more droopy and deflated, then a lift won't improve projection and upper pole fullness much, so implants can make the shape far superior to a lift without them.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon' s experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. A C cup would look very nice on you. Some breasts only sag, but are not tubular breasts. If you actually have tubular breasts, implants will be helpful to reshape the bases.

Choosing the correct procedure should be done in based on having a clear understanding of what the underlying problem is, what you’re trying to achieve and what you’re willing to go through.
A breast lift will leave you more or less the same size, but with an improved shape and especially nipple areola position.
Choosing the right shape and size implants is something that should be discussed carefully during in person consultations with experienced plastic surgeons.
Cup size is subjective and imprecise. I suggest asking each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of the previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your own to get an idea of what results are typical, and what you would like to achieve. I understand the desire for modesty, but for breast surgery we need to see your breast without a bra.

I suggest having multiple in person consultations with the plastic surgeons in your community. An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients.
Implant size should be determined based on the measurement of your chest and breast with combined with the desired final size. Diameter of the implant needs to fit your anatomic breast, and the desire for a greater volume should correlate with a high profile implant while more modest augmentation would be better done using a low profile implant.
Finding the best provider sometimes requires having a few consultations.
The more consultations, you have the more likely you are to find the best provider for your needs.
