Dr. Hunter is a really special surgeon. Not just because he’s incredibly talented. He’s also incredibly kind. He made me feel SO comfortable, heard, and safe. He answered all, and I mean all, of my questions. His staff was welcoming, warm, and so personable. I was so nervous coming in and left on cloud 9. My results are even better than I could have dreamed. Dr. Hunter called the night of my procedure just to check in to see how I was doing. My follow-up appointments have been thorough and helpful. Everything from the very beginning has been so smooth and easy. I feel communicated with and important at each stage. I’m so grateful for Dr. Hunter and his amazing team at Amelia Aesthetics.
After 20+ years, I had to replace my old implants and quickly. A friend referred me to Amelia Aesthetics and I was able to meet and consult with Dr. Hunter within one week of calling. Fortunately for me, they were able to schedule my surgery a week after consultation. Dr. Hunter is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I didn’t have long to think about what I wanted and implants have come a long way since 1999. I trusted Dr. Hunter’s advice and am thrilled with my results! His staff is incredibly friendly and the ease of my procedure from start to finish was amazing!
Dr. Hunter is very personable and is all about what he can do to make you feel your best. He is caring and a phenomenal surgeon. I am absolutely amazed at what he did for me! I hope to see him again in a few years for a BL/BA! I cannot recommend him enough!
Dr.Hunter was an amazing Doctor to perform my procedure. He was very informative about what I was wanting done. He listened to what I had to say and my concerns and directed me into the path he thought would fit me best. I’m glad I listened to him because I am so happy with my results!!
The short of it: book your surgery with Dr. Hunter! He is absolutely amazing. The long version: I went to Dr. Hunter to discuss a breast augmentation. My kids are now 9 and 7 and over those years my breast had basically deflated and were very saggy due to breastfeeding and age. I was turning 40 in 2023 and overall I’ve never felt more confident in my life. I loved this stage of life and my body but the more I looked in the mirror the more I didn’t identify with my chest. I didn’t feel like a woman because my breasts were non existent and what was left just looked like saggy skin. I had always pushed off any surgery for the standard reasons- recovery time, putting others first, fear I would look augmented and not natural, and constantly asked myself, “Do you really NEED this?” Now that I’ve had the surgery, I can say that I did NEED it in certain ways. It is undoubtably WORTH it though! Dr. Hunter was kind and immediately took away any nervousness and instilled confidence. I came in requesting the perfect middle ground- not too big, not too small, not too high, not too low. I felt like the toughest patient but Dr. Hunter assured me that wasn’t the case and he was very familiar with my needs. He nailed it! It’s like he looked at me, heard what I wanted, understood my lifestyle (busy, my type of workout, etc) and then was like “easy peezy” haha He has this perfect mix of chill but not so chill you think he doesn’t care. He is also very precise, even taking out a level and measuring tape during the pre-op markings on my chest. In the OR I felt so excited and not the least bit nervous because him and all of the nurses were just soooo amazing! The po nurse also was great when I had questions during my recovery. I’m over the moon with my results. They are natural yet full and lifted. I’ve even had people say, “how are your boobs so perfect after two kids?!” because they don’t look augmented. I also feel more confident with my husband and feel more of that sexual connection again. He was supportive either way but I got my confidence back and that’s the most important thing. I did end up with a lollipop lift and implants but the scars are already fading (I’m 6 months po when writing this) and I wouldn’t have gotten the results I wanted without a lift due to my anatomy. If I was getting any other work done, I would go back to Dr. Hunter and Amelia in a heartbeat! A big shout out to the entire staff at Amelia too. Their process, knowledge and friendliness was truly amazing.
Dr. Hunter was amazing. I was so nervous about getting surgery and everything that goes into it. In fact, I didn’t think I could even go through with doing it, BUT I DID. I am so thrilled that I did. I had a mommy makeover that included a TT, Breast reduction/lift, and lipo, and I feel so much better about my body and I have so much confidence now to do simple things like workout in a sports bra!! I will forever be grateful for Dr. Hunter and ALL the staff at Amelia (especially Kelly) for helping me with recovery and the aftermath. I am happy with my results. Do it ladies!! Do it for YOU!!!!
Where do I begin, Dr. Hunter and the staff at Amelia Aesthetics are some of the best medical professionals I have ever worked with. I also work in the medical field, and I can say that the patient care at Amelia Aesthetics is above and beyond. From the very first phone call I made to inquire about my procedure, to them taking me out in the wheelchair after my procedure, every person I came in contact with was absolutely amazing. I was so nervous and not well educated about my breast lift and augmentation, but Dr. Hunter was so thorough and patient with me. After my first visit with Dr. Hunter, I knew he was the Plastic surgeon for me. I left his office so happy and excited to go back, I have joked around with my husband about having another procedure just so I can go back to the Raleigh office, they make you feel like family and take care of you like family as well. Dr. Hunter and my husband even bonded when he was going over my aftercare instructions. Dr. Hunter has the amazing bedside care, I was so nervous on my surgery date, but the staff had me laughing and in great spirits by the time I went back to the surgical suit. We were even dancing a little before. I am 5 weeks postop today and I can say, this was the best decision I have ever made, and Dr. Hunter and his staff made it possible; they walked through every step of this process with me. I am forever grateful to Dr. Hunter and his staff, I feel amazing, I look amazing even after just 5 weeks and I am excited to see the final results.
From the moment I met Dr. Hunter I felt comfortable and cared for with my tummy tuck procedure. He explained everything thoroughly, and he and the Amelia team were always available for questions. I am beyond thrilled with the results of my tummy tuck, liposuction, and muscle repair. My results have changed my life for the better. I have a confidence in myself that I honestly never thought I would get back post children. I would recommend Dr. Hunter to anyone looking for this type of procedure. I’ve been thinking about getting a breast reduction since I was a teenager. I finally decided to go for it, and I couldn’t be happier. I look and feel so much better. I have so many more options with clothes and bras. I am so happy with the results so far. Dr. Hunter is amazing at what he does, before, during, and after the surgery. He was so patient and knowledgeable with all of my burning questions and I felt so safe and taken care of going into my first surgery ever. Him & the entire staff at Amelia are amazing.
Dr Cedric Hunter is amazing. Everything from first consultation to recovery. His bedside manner is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. He truly cares and wants what’s best for his patients. His entire staff are top notch and welcoming. I went to him for a breast augmentation. That is a procedure not to be taken lightly. I visited a few drs and ended up going with the Dr Hunter. Very little pain after surgery and my breasts look amazing. He takes his time and does great work. I highly recommend him!
Hey, thank you for sharing. Based on the photos, you may need a slightly larger implant for a more full look. Getting to a D cup is hard to say, because each of the bra manufacturers use different sizes and often even in the same store 2 people may get different measurements. I usually like to do an exam, review goal photos, and then use virtual software to show you how a lift and different size implants will look on you. We can then use this to help pick a final implant size and profile.
Hey, thank you for your question. Based on the photo and your description, I would not recommend a high profile implant. I think a HP implant will be too narrow. I would recommend a moderate plus or a low plus profile implant. I would want to get you into the office to do an exam, review goal photos, and to use virtual sizing technology to give show you how each implant size is likely to look on you and to finalize and size and profile from there. Hope that helps!
Hey, thank you for your question. Based on your crisalix and the goals, I think you could get a great result. The profile can change based on your volume goals. Based on the photos and where I think your volume will land, I would guess you will use a moderate plus profile with those measurements. I would be able to get a better idea by having you in the office to do an exam and then using our virtual sizing technology to show you what each implant size will look on you and then selecting a size and profile from there.
Hey, thank you for sharing. I enjoy these conversations particularly when it seems you already have reasonable expectations. You are correct, I would recommend a lift for the best and most aesthetic result. However, if you are planning for breastfeeding or have other reasons and don't want to proceed with a lift at this time, you can still proceed with an augmentation. We just have to have a conversation about expectations. I would likely recommend over the muscle due to the breast sitting low and a larger implant. You can get a great result. For a clear recommendation I would want to have you in the office for an exam and to use our virtual sizing technology to show you how the implant will look on you and to help us adjust and pick the size that matches your goals. Hope that helps!
Hello, thank you for your question. To reduce the minora we could potentially do a labiaplasty to help reduce some of the excess skin. Regarding the majora, I would not recommend a surgical approach. We could discuss vaginal rejuvenation in the form of skin tightening that may help you get closer to your goals. To make a more direct plan I would need to do an exam in the office and have a discussion to make sure that the treatment plan aligns with your goals. Hope that helps!
