Hi, I want an uplift with small implants and I'm currently a 32DD and want 225cc implants. At my first consultation, the surgeon told me he would only do this in 2 separate operations and another surgeon has told me he is more than happy to do both surgery's together also with galaFLEX. I obviously want both done together but is there a big risk with having it done together? Just curious... Thank you

Answer: Commonly performed simultaneously Hello and thank you for your question. These two surgeries are commonly performed together in the US and are considered safe when performed by an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon. As long as there is not a particular contraindication against performing the two surgeries together, you should be able to undergo them both at the same time. I perform a majority of my breast lift cases with an implant, even if just to give shape and projection to the breast with a smaller implant.

Answer: Lift and implant Hello, thank you for your question. It really depends if you are remove breast tissue and unsure how much to remove based on the implant size and your natural breast tissue. We usually do two steps in one unless we unsure if the patient truly needs a lift and they are borderline. I would speak to your plastic surgeon again and see what you are more comfortable with doing.
