Neck lipo help - what treatments would you recommend? (Photo)

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for posting your photo and question! It is very unlikely that skin laxity is an issue, and that tightening with RF microneedling would make the fullness under your chin disappear. Given that you had submental neck liposuction already, the fullness is probably from deep subplatysmal fat. That fat compartment is accessed and reduced with a neck lift procedure which requires a small incision under the chin. Hope this helps!

A full set of facial and neck photographs from all angles are required to make a determination about how best to proceed. It's also important understand that there are two compartments of fat in the neck, and they're located above and below the platysma muscle. Liposuction can only accomplish removal of the fat deposit above the muscle. If you have fat deposits below the muscle, that may require a neck lift procedure with a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline and remove that genetic fat compartment below the muscle.
