I am a 25 y/o, 5'5" (165cm) female that weighs 128lbs. I've had a stubborn pocket of fat underneath my chin my whole life. I was pretty sure I wanted chin liposuction as that seems to be the gold standard until a doctor recommended I explore non-surgical options such as coolsculpting, hotsculpting, belkyra, and morpheus8 for my case. Now I'm not sure what I want to do and where to even start. If anyone can offer their opinion, I would be more than grateful. Thank you!
Answer: Morpheus8 is a great option for you to slim the face by melting unwanted fat and giving a more defined look. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Chin Liposuction in New York City Liposuction of the chin can remove the excess fat and can give a more defined and sculpted jawline. While you don’t have a lot of fat there, it only takes a small amount of fat to give the appearance of a double chin. Liposuction will permanently remove that fat so it is far better than any non-invasive procedure. In most cases, it is done under local anesthesia and there is a rapid return to regular activity. Check out the link for some more information, as well as a video about how liposuction of the chin works.

Answer: A doctor recommended me not do chin lipo. What procedure should I do to target fullness under my chin? If your doctor advised against chin liposuction, there are still several other procedures to consider for addressing fullness under the chin: 1. Kybella: This is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin (submental fat). Multiple treatments are usually needed for optimal results. 2. CoolSculpting: This is a non-invasive procedure that freezes and destroys fat cells. A specially designed applicator is used to target the fat under the chin. 3. WarmSculpting with SculpSure: This non-invasive procedure uses laser technology to heat and destroy fat cells under the chin. 4. Neck Lift: For individuals with excess skin or muscle banding in addition to fat, a surgical neck lift may be an option. This procedure tightens the skin and muscles in the neck, reducing the appearance of a "double chin." 5. Ultherapy or Thermage: These non-invasive treatments use ultrasound or radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin under the chin and stimulate collagen production. 6. Thread Lift: This is a minimally invasive procedure where temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible lift in the skin. Each of these procedures has its own set of pros and cons, and the best one for you will depend on your specific needs, goals, and overall health. It's important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to discuss your options.

Answer: A doctor recommended and no chin liposuction From your side profile photograph, especially when looking downward, you have fat deposits located in the two compartments in your neck, located both above and below the platysma muscle. You also have a recessive chin profile which compounds the issue. You would need a chin implant to augment your chin forward for better structural support for the soft tissues in the neck along with improving your jawline. You would also require a neck lift procedure, which accomplishes fat deposits removed in both compartments, along with a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. Liposuction alone will only remove the fat compartment above the muscle, which will be in an effective treatment by itself.
