Hi, I was wondering what kind of procedure would be suitable for my eyes. Eyelid surgery? fillers? or fat graft? As you can see my upper eyelids are droopy ,I don't know if it is ptosis. Also, my eyes are sunken and I have undereye hollowness. Compared to a picture of my eye at 13yrs I had neither of these conditions. I'd appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

Answer: Rejuvenating the Eye Area: The Benefits of Fat Transfer Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your concerns about the appearance of your eyelids. Based on your description, it seems that you do not have a significant excess of skin in the eyelid area, which suggests that eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) may not be necessary in your case. To address the droopiness and achieve a fresher, more youthful look, I recommend considering an autologous fat transfer. This minimally invasive procedure involves harvesting fat from another part of your body, purifying it, and injecting it into specific areas of the eyelids that have lost volume. Fat transfer not only restores lost volume but also improves skin quality, offering natural and long-lasting results. Unlike synthetic fillers, fat transfer uses your own cells, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions and providing a more harmonious integration with surrounding tissues. This approach can revitalize the eyelid area, eliminating the sunken appearance and restoring a more rested and rejuvenated look. Best regards,

Answer: Artful filler to your under eye grooves may be considered. We can see on your photograph even at 13 years, that you have congenital under eye grooves. And you have scleral show. That means you can see the white of your eye above your lower eyelid. In our practice, we use microdroplet Silikon-1000 to permanently fill under eye grooves for a more pleasing under eye appearance. Thank you for your question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
