I received volbella lip injections exactly one month ago today. This morning I woke up with swollen upper lip that got worse throughout the day. I went to emergency room and they told me I may have (idiopathic) Angioedema but they are not sure what may have caused it or why it happened. The doctor who injected my lips with volbella is facial plastic surgeon in manhattan- he is saying it can not be a reaction to volbella one month later...

Volbella is an ideal dermal filler for patients who want a subtle, natural look to their lips and are afraid of too much volume. However, if it isn't delivering the look that you like, there are other fillers than can give more "plump" to the lips such as Juvéderm and Restylane.
While it is safe to use 1 syringe under each eye, I always think it best to start small. I think it delivers the safest and most natural looking aesthetic result. Particularly under the eyes. I would suggest that you get a second opinion from another really experienced injector in your area.
I am so sorry that you are experiencing this. You need to have this assessed in person by a really experienced injector such as a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist. I think that you are going to have to have at least some of the Volbella dissolved.
