Based on the pictures, this will most likely need at least one syringe. Keep in mind, most Doctors will start with one syringe to avoid over-filling. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with lip fillers. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Juvederm is a wonderful filler for adding volume to the lip. Juvederm Volbella would be an ideal pick as it gives nice volume where it is needed. It comes in a smaller size syringe so you don't feel obligated to use a full 1 cc syringe on the lip. Some people will need two syringes depending on their anatomy. Your doctor will be able to guide you best.
You can certainly try 1/2 a syringe and see what you think. You can always add more. I suspect you will need a whole syringe, however.
An examination done by your injector will give you the best opinion. That being said, starting with one syringe of product should give you a good starting point. If it isn't enough, you can always return to add more. Remember that swelling and bruising are common after lip injections, so you will want to wait two weeks after your injections before considering further treatment.
Dermal filler would be a good route for the lips, especially a hyaluronic acid based filler such as Juvederm, which is an excellent filler to help plump up the lips. It is difficult to determine how much filler would be required without a face to face consultation. Often times, the final determination for the amount of filler necessary is not made until the procedure is performed. I would recommend that you have a formal facial consultation to determine the best treatment plan for your lips.
To meet your goal, you will probably need at least 1 syringe. Consult in person with an experienced and expert physician injector to understand your options.
Good morning! Thanks for your question. Based on the pictures you provided I think a full vial will be needed of Juvederm Ultra. The newer Volbella is excellent also but would give you a more subtle result. Good luck!
It is likely you will need at least one syringe and maybe more. Best to be evaluated in person.........
Thanks for your question and for posting images. Nothing substitutes for a thoughtful consultation, and I would encourage you to have a formal evaluation to assess your anatomy and discuss your goals. To my eye, the middle picture is well balanced between the upper and lower lip, and the lower picture shows more volume in the lower lip. It would be important to differentiate the look you are after. Like some other providers, I suspect it would take a full syringe to meet your goals, but there is no harm in injecting less and allowing the result to settle before making a judgment. Additional filler can always be added. The most important thing is finding a Board Certified practitioner with considerable experience who will be dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
Since both your lips need to be enlarged -I think at least 1 syringe would be good. You can see the result and have more done if needed , in second session.
