Lip Fillers: bumps from Juvederm Ultra Plus, am I botched? (Photos)

It's still too early to tell what your final results will be. You need to give it 2 weeks for the swelling to go down and the filler to settle in. You can try massaging any discrete lumps to soften them up. Juvederm Ultra Plus is a bulkier filler. When used in the lips it takes skill to be able to inject it in such a way to prevent bumps from forming. If you're still unhappy after 2 weeks then you can have the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. Best wishes. 

It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Because the lumps appear to be in the areas of larger filler placement they may be the result of swelling which will dissipate and improve over the next two weeks.   You can help this process along with cold compresses, sleeping with your head elevated, and supplementing with arnica montana and bromelain.  If the masses are firmer, it may be the filler alone which should soften and improve over the next two weeks as well.  Hang in there, given enough time the appropriate diagnosis can be made and treatment offered.

Start massaging immediately.  You're not botched but it's going to take a lot of massaging on your part to get your lips smooth.  Remember there are also injectables that reverse Juvederm if the massaging doesn't help!

Your final results can take up to two weeks to be realized due to swelling from the injection.  You can massage the area gently to try to soften the lumps.  If after two weeks you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.

Bumps may be related to filler or from bruising.  If it is filler, I usually recommend gently massage. You are best to review this with your surgeon.

You can get "bumps" after lip injections.  The  good news is that most will go away and can easily be manipulated with gentle massaging as I show in the video below. You basically hold the lip between your index finger and thumb and roll gently the filler into the lip. Since you are only three days out I wouldn't be too concerned this can easily be corrected. Just give it a few more days. You'll generally see final results by seven days. Hope this helps.

You have to be patient, since your injection was perform only 3 days ago. Give yourself approximately a week after the treatment.  You may also massage your lips by gently rolling them etween the fingers. Good luck for New York City
