I can not begin to say enough about Dr. Lickstein. From my consultation which was not rushed and he answered all 28 of my questions - to the time taken to really address my wants and expectations. I love his realness and he will tell you, 80% of the final results are up to YOU! Folks, you get out of it what you put in. Follow his directions and you'll be good.
The seasoned eye Dr Lickstein has in adding details such as proper lipo, muscle tightening and to what extent is unmatched! I was debating between his services and another doc, that seemed to run more of an assembly line - in grateful to have chosen him. Bedside manner is A+.

For years I was deeply insecure about my boobs because of the asymmetry. Going to the Bitar Institute in Fairfax VA, was one of the best decisions I've made. Dr. Lickstein performed a wonderful job. This procedure has definitely boost my self esteem and confidence. I couldn't thank him enough.

I had eye surgery (upper and lower) and lipo on my neck one week ago. I am 50 years old. All I can say is WOW - really WOW!! My bruising is almost gone, my neck is perfect and tight, and my eyes are looking amazing even with stitches.

I had neck lipo and Kybella injections at different times over the years to get rid of my sagging neck. I thought for sure I needed a lower face lift. Dr. Lickstein talked me out of that and did the less invasive (and less expensive) neck liposuction. My last surgeon had rushed my surgery and didn't do any of the work very carefully. Out of all the work my previous surgeon completed, it looks like I'm going to have to have almost all of it redone. Dr. Lickstein takes his time, seriously evaluates his approach, maps out carefully how each surgery will work, and carefully and conscientiously executes his surgical plan.

After working for years in the medical field myself, I have found most surgeons either have meticulous surgical abilities or a great bedside manner. Getting both in a surgeon can be hard. Dr. Lickstein has an amazingly warm bedside manner as well. He knows what to say and when to say it to get you to hear what you need to do during recovery. He never rushes appointments and spends all the time you need to feel comfortable at each stage of recovery.

The staff is also amazing! Some plastic surgeon offices have these beautiful "billboards" with highly competitive natures. It appears to be a pattern in the beauty industry. Although every person working in Dr. Lickstein's office is beautiful, everyone seems to work together as a cohesive team cooperating seamlessly for each patient as if they are their only priority.

If you are considering having any plastic surgery or face work (injections, etc) done in Northern Virginia, seriously look into Elle Aesthetics (Dr. Lickstein). If you've had problems in the past with other providers, give Dr. Lickstein a call. As long as he's practicing, he will be my plastic surgeon!

I would like to stay, I've reviewed some of these other reviews on this page and cannot imagine these are for the same doctor. I'm writing this review in September 2021 and I can tell you first hand, he's the best. A couple of these reviews are quite old and don't have background context to explain the situation. Don't overlook an amazing plastic surgeon for a questionably sourced review.

Dr. Lickstein is a best in class, state of the art plastic surgeon. His techniques are cutting edge and his bedside manner is top notch. I'm so much happier than I ever thought I could be with my results. He listened to what I wanted and turned inspiration pictures into reality. I think going forward people are going to be using my before and after pictures as their ultimate goal, so happy with him and so fortunate I found him through his amazing reputation.

Based on my recent abdominoplasty surgery results, and my facial fillers, botox and natural looking lip enhancement results I can attest to fact that Dr. Harry Lickstein is the best surgeon in the field of cosmetic surgery. He was recommended to me by one of my Doctors who said "If I was going to have an abdominoplasty/liposuction this is who I would go to for it." I also researched Dr. Lickstein's impeccable credentials. I was particularly interested in his interest in performing tummy tucks for former bariatric patients who had excess, hanging skin after weight loss surgery. This was the case with me. Let me just say my surgery results exceeded all expectations for how I thought I would look post surgery. At 67 yrs old I never thought I'd have a tiny waist and a flat stomach and perfect belly button again in my life!! Dr. Lickstein is also very pleasant and personable. He put me at ease and was totally available to me post surgery as I was healing first 6 weeks. I totally entrusted my life to him for surgery. His nurses and staff are so nice and very helpful. I'm now 2 months out from surgery and I look and feel terrific, sexy at 67 and much more confident. I have Dr. Lickstein to thank for this "new me" because it was his artistic ability, incredible talent and outstanding surgical skills and experience that got me to how I look and feel today. You would be very wise and fortunate to have him as your cosmetic surgeon of choice!

I’m 3 months post op abdominoplasty performed by Dr Larry Lickstein. I don’t have a before pic but I eve me, I had a lot of hanging skin below by button and wrinkled skin above and beside my belly button plus scars from a prior lap band removal and gastric bypass. Dr. Lickstein was able to hide or somehow get rid of the scars and he sculpted me a nicely shaped waist line I haven’t had in 30 years and I now have a totally flat stomach! I have had so many friends and coworkers tell me I look “phenomenal” now (make me realize just how much I need this surgery)! My husband is thrilled with my results as well. However, it’s Dr. Lickstein who is truly a “Phenomenal” and artistic plastic surgeon!!

My husband and I are so pleased what Dr. Larry Lickstein was able to achieve for me with age appropriate facial filler for added cheek volume, Botox for 11’s. Forehead and eye wrinkles and I’m thrilled with my lips which look natural for me, just fuller &. more definition. I look like a well rested best version of ME! My engagement photos were so much nicer with a bit of help at 67!!

Hands-down Dr. Lickstein is a true body artist. At Elle Aesthetics they me feel extremely comfortable at making the decision to book my surgery. I am three months post Brazilian butt lift and I am extremely happy with my experience. The surgery has been life-changing for me as I have been struggling with my weight up and down over the years including my hypothyroidism. With trying every diet and working out I learned sometimes our genetics can also be a major factor. Dr. Lickstein and the staff were there for me all the way through this process / post op appointments and recovery it made surgery a pleasant experience. Thank you, now I look like I truly feel inside.

Dr. Lickstein did amazing work! He made me look amazing. I lost close to 100lbs had tons of loose skin on my stomach and arms that was making me extremely self conscious and causing some health issues. I haven’t been able to wear sleeveless anything, and definitely haven’t tucked a shirt in since I was a teenager. Just over 10 weeks post op from a tummy tuck, lipo, and brachioplasty I have the confidence to do both. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up to wear a sleeveless shirt. I also love my belly button! I could stare at my flat stomach all day. Thank you so much Dr. Lickstein for making my body look better than it did when I was 16!

I live in the Baltimore area. I was interested in profractional laser resurfacing on my face and heard great things about Dr. Lickstein from people whose judgment I trust. Although he was quite a distance from my home, I selected him after meeting with several specialists. It was the best decision I could have made. He is an amazing and skilled plastic surgeon. He was phenomenal. I can't say enough about him and the result I obtained.. He was, and continues to be, simply wonderful. I have since seen him for fillers and other injectables. He has a wonderful manner, is accessible and always responsive. Every procedure he has performed has left me with me a natural look. I can't say enough about his professional skills and demeanor.
