Help!! My whole nose decided to shift towards the left, leaving the cartilage on the other side to collapse. Months ago it was straight like a pencil. What happened? Can this be fixed with surgery??
Answer: YES- I Recommend Rhinoplasty | Facial Plastic Surgery Expert | Crooked | Functional Nose Job | Breathing Issues | Los Angeles Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing breathing issues is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open rhinoplasty can best address both your functional issues and any aesthetic concerns with your nose. I would be able to open up and reinforce your internal and external nasal valves to improve the airflow through your nose! I'd also be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (including straightening it). This truly a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: You may be a candidate for an open reduction of your nasal fracture. Based on your photo, you appear to have a C shaped appearance of your nose, and if this is post traumatic, osteotomies may be helpful for achieving a straighter nasal appearance. Please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialist. Thank you. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty and septoplasty A rhinoplasty and septoplasty can correct this deformity. The question is what happened? It is possible you had trauma to your nose that caused this. It usually does not occur spontaneously. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
