Is there a procedure that would reduce my nostrils while also shortening the appearance of my midface? (photo)

Based on your photo, you appear to have an obtuse nose lip angle. If your main objective is to decrease the amount of nostril show that is seen, depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered for lowering your nostril margin several millimeters. Those are two separate procedures/parts of the face. The nostril show is goign to be a rhinoplasty procedure. Shortening of the midface is not a thing (yet?)

Your nasal columella angle is slightly over 90 degrees and this is causing more exposure of the nose. You will need lengthening of the nose to turn the tip downward. This will not make your mid face look shorter. You may also benefit from a chin implant.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit rhinoplasty with tip derotation to help decrease your nostril exposure. In regards to the rest of your face, a formal evaluation would be helpful. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

An alar plasty can be performed under local anesthesia to narrow wide nostrils. A frontal photograph is required to make a determination for being a candidate for the procedure.

Unfortunately your photos do not really depict the size and shape of the nostrils. Nevertheless, if you do not nostril reduction, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and you may return to non-strenuous work very quickly. It does not have any effect on the mid-face. You should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon
