I have execessive nostril exposure from the front and sides and was wondering if there are any procedures to remove/reduce it. If there is, would it also make my midface shorter?

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit rhinoplasty with tip derotation to help decrease your nostril exposure. In regards to the rest of your face, a formal evaluation would be helpful. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Answer: Is there a procedure that would reduce my nostrils while also shortening the appearance of my midface? (photo) Unfortunately your photos do not really depict the size and shape of the nostrils. Nevertheless, if you do not nostril reduction, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and you may return to non-strenuous work very quickly. It does not have any effect on the mid-face. You should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon
