My internal incision scars are pretty thick and have white and yellow spots on them, and because my alars are retracted they are super obvious, can i try silicone scar sheets or something to try to lessen them?

Answer: I don't believe that silicone sheeting is feasible for the inside of the nose. If I had to guess, it appears that your rhinoplasty surgery is longer than 6 months ago. I'm not sure that there is any topical cream or other preparation that you could put on a nasal scar to minimize its appearance at this point. It is conceivable that you may be a candidate for a permanent non-surgical nose job to lower your nostril margins so that the inside of your septum is less visible. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Alar retraction Hello and thank you for your question. Silicone sheeting will not work well for that type of scarring. A much better option for you is to undergo a Revision Rhinoplasty with appropriate treatment of your alar retraction to give much less nostril exposure. Scar revisions could be performed at the same time. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G.
